Clinical Observation Of Honglu Prescription Combined Guanyuan(RN4) Isolated-Ginger Moxibustion,the Treatment Of Kidney Deficiency And Dampness Syndrome In Type ⅢA Prostatitis

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Honglu prescription combined Guanyuan isolated-ginger Moxibustion treatment kidney deficiency and dampness syndrome in type IIIA prostatitis,and to explore a safety and reliable mode for TCM treatment.Methods A randomized control trial was used to divide 100 patients with type IIIA prostatitis of kidney deficiency and dampness symptom into the experimental group(n=50)and the control group(n=50).The control group were orally treated with Honglu prescription(Chinese Herbal Medicine decoction by Longhua hospital Urinary Male Department).The dose of Honglufang prescription was a 150 ml potion,twice a day,after breakfast and dinner 30 minutes for 6 weeks The experimental group were treated with Guanyuan isolated-ginger Moxibustion with oral Honglu prescription(The dose same as the control group).Guanyuan isolated-ginger Moxibustion’s method was prepared for 2 Moxa cones,once a cone on the ginger slide and moxibustion at Guanyuan accupoint,treated 2 cones/time,once every other day for 6 weeks.The National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Score(NIH-CPSI),Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)Syndrome scores,leukocyte and lecithin bodies level in the prostatic secretion before and after 3 weeks,and 6 weeks of treatment were observed.Results(1)After 3 weeks of treatment,the NIH-CPSI scores of the two groups were improved(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 weeks,the NIH-CPSI(NIH-Chronic Prostatitis Symptom Index)scores of both groups were significantly improved(P<0.05),and the improvement of pain symptom and urination symptom were better than control group(P<0.05),but did not show an advantage in the impact of life quality and total score(P>0.05).(2)After 3 weeks of treatment,the TCM syndrome scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).After 6 weeks,the the TCM syndrome scores of both groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the improvement of pain symptom and urination symptom were better than control group(P<0.05),but did not show an advantage in the impact of life quality and total score(P>0.05).(3)The levels of leukocytes and lecithin in the prostatic secretion before and after treatment were compared in those two groups.In the experimental group,leukocyte levels were improved after treatment(P<0.05),the result showed the experimental group had significantly decreased leukocyte and lecithin levels(P<0.05).There was no significant improvement of the lecithin bodies levels in the control group after treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion Honglu prescription prescription combined with Guanyuan isolatedginger Moxibustion for the treatment of kidney deficiency and dampness syndrome in IIIA prostatitis clinical efficacy is best,safety and reliable.It is worthy of further study,popularization and application.
