A Sociolinguistics Study Of The Linyi Villiage Names

The name of the village is the most commonly used name in people's social life.It is an objective social phenomenon and a special language symbol.On the one hand,it has the important role of positioning and transmitting position information.On the other hand,the name of the village also contains rich language information,cultural information,geographical features,etc.,playing an important role in its "living fossil".Sociolinguistics studies the influence of language on each level of social life.In short,it is to study the interrelationship between language and society.As one of the ancient cities in China,Linyi City,Shandong Province has a rich cultural heritage and a long historical background.At present,the research on Linyi village name is still relatively backward.From the perspective of sociolinguistics,the study of Linyi village name is still a blank.Therefore,the study of Linyi village name from the perspective of sociolinguistics not only has important linguistic significance and social value.And can provide certain reference value for the naming convention of Linyi village name and management place name.This paper takes 7151 natural villages in Linyi City as research objects,and conducts research and analysis on related materials such as Shizhi,place names and county records in Linyi,and conducts on-the-spot investigations.Combining literature research and field research,using the relevant theories of sociolinguistics,it explores and reveals the naming characteristics of Linyi village name and its language features and social and cultural connotations.The article is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction part,which mainly expounds thegeographical overview and historical evolution of Linyi City,the research summary,research significance and related investigation scope and investigation methods of Linyi Village name.The second part analyzes in detail the language characteristics of Linyi village name.Starting from the perspective of linguistics,it mainly analyzes the characteristics of speech,vocabulary and the composition of the names and proper names of Linyi Village.The third part analyzes the naming types of Linyi village names,mainly from the aspects of natural geographical factors and humanities and social factors.Natural geographical factors include topography,hydrology,biology and natural climatic factors.Human and social factors include the influence of surname,number,orientation and image color factors on the naming of village names.The naming types of Linyi place names were analyzed from the above two aspects.The fourth part discusses and analyzes the social and cultural connotations of the name of Linyi Village.It analyzes the relationship between Linyi village name and local politics,economy,military,culture and people's social psychology,so as to deeply explore the rich cultural connotation contained in the name of Linyi Village.The fifth part summarizes the analysis made in the above parts,and puts forward some suggestions for the standard naming of Linyi village name.For example,the naming of village names should follow the principle of standardization,avoid the phenomenon of duplicate names,uncommon characters,etc.The standardization has made further planning and prospects,hoping to play a certain reference role.
