| The Chinese contemporary society and culture have been experiencing a great transformation since the implementation of reform and opening up policy,as well as the influx of a large number of Western theories.As a result,the leading role of modern life has been gradually shifted from traditional religious activities to daily life activities.The concept of "aestheticization of daily life" was originated/firstly established by Mike Featherstone,a British scholar.This concept refers to a cultural phenomenon that artistic aesthetic activities are gradually integrated into daily life in modern day society.The "aestheticization of daily life" has been introduced into China for decades,therefore,it is no longer considered as a simple transplantation of the discourse power of western theory.Despite the controversy,"daily life" has undeniable effects on art and literatures,especially its nearly permeable influence on painting.This paper explores and summarizes the impacts of "aestheticization of daily life"on art,painting creation and oil painting language by focusing on how aesthetics from public cultural life affects painting.It also concretely addresses the reflection of divinity,criticism and diversity of daily life on painting.The main body of this paper is divided into three chapters namely:the formation and concept of "aestheticization of daily life",the daily expression of individual painting,and the influence of "daily experience" on my personal painting creation.The first chapter is about a preliminary explanation and concrete explanation of the concept of "aestheticization of daily life".Following that,the second chapter discusses two artists who exhibit daily elements in their painting,which have far-reaching influence on the author.The last chapter follows the principle of combining theoretical research with practice,such as analyzing the influence of daily life to oil painting creation and a further thinking about oil painting language. |
