Objective: To research the therapeutic effect of different acupuncture and moxibustion methods combined with traditional Chinese Medicine on patients with herpes zoster sequela of neuralgia. Methods: According to the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndrome of postherpetic neuralgia and diagnostic criteria of TCM syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis type,90 patients with PHN were selected, applying the research methods of random control were divided into three groups, fire needle therapy and oral Chinese medicine treatment, electro acupuncture treatment and Chinese medicine,Chinese medicine group.Acupuncture treatments were the same traditional Chinese medicine from surgery of traditional Chinese medicine book in "snakes" syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis.Three groups were treated for 2 weeks. The data are analyzed by SPSS20.0 statistics software. Results:There were 90 patients completed this study, including 30 cases in each group. Before this study, three groups in gender, age, course,VAS score, duration of pain, pain, sleep time intervals were not differences(P>0.05),and comparable. After the treatment, acupuncture group in the VAS score and immediate analgesic onset time, interval time of pain, improve sleep and other aspects of the improvement effect is significantly better than the other two groups(P< 0.05),and the duration of pain points this way,the treatment in the three groups showed no significant difference(P>0.05).At the same time, this study also explored the relationship between the three groups of therapeutic effects and two aspects of age and area of pain. After statistical study, there were no statistical significances(P > 0.05).The total effective rate comparison, the total efficiency of acupuncture group was 90%,the total effective rate was 80% in the electroacupuncture group,Chinese medicine group total effective rate was 56.7%.Although the fire needle group and the electro acupuncture group compared the effect of no significant difference(P>0.05),but the fire needle groupand electro acupuncture group and medicine group respectively. There was significant difference(P<0.05).No obvious adverse reaction occurred during the treatment. Conclusion: Fire needle therapy, acupuncture and Chinese medicine treatment can effectively alleviate the pain of patients with PHN syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis, and has higher safety and overall treatment.Especially the fire needle treatment combined with traditional Chinese Medicine in the VAS score and immediate analgesic onset time, improve sleep and interval time of pain have obvious advantages. But for the patients with different age and pain area, there was no significant difference between the three groups, indicating that there was no significant correlation between the therapeutic effect and the two factors. In overall evaluation of treatment, the two kinds of acupuncture treatments can improve the treatment efficiency with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome PHN.
