Clinical Observation Of Jiawei Shenlingbaizhu Powder In The Treatment Of Persistent And Refractory Mycoplasma Pneumonia Syndrome Of Lung And Spleen Deficiency In Children

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of modified Shenling Baizhu in the treatment of persistent mycoplasma pneumonia with deficiency of both lung and spleen in children.Methods: 72 children were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 36 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with standard therapy plus modified Shenling Baizhu powder,while the control group was treated with standard therapy(azithromycin + methylprednisolone),one week as a course of treatment,three weeks as a cycle,both groups were treated for one cycle.The scores of TCM syndromes on day 0,7,14 and 21 were compared between the two groups,and the efficacy indexes(hs-CRP,peripheral blood N%,chest X-ray)and safety indexes(Cr,BUN,AST,ALT)before and after treatment on day 21 were compared to determine the efficacy and safety of Jiawei Shenling Baizhu Powder.Results:1.The scores of TCM syndromes and hs-CRP decreased significantly after treatment(P < 0.01),and the two groups were compared(P < 0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.2.After treatment,N% of peripheral blood decreased significantly(P < 0.05)compared with that before treatment,and the treatment group was better than the control group(P < 0.05).3.Chest X-ray film improved significantly after treatment(P < 0.05),compared with before treatment(P > 0.05),so the improvement of chest X-ray in the two groups was comparable.4.Safety indicators: After treatment with Cr,BUN,AST and ALT,there was no significant difference(P > 0.05),so the two groups had no significant effect on safety indicators.5.After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 87.88%,while that of the control group was 68.75%.There was a statistical difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group.6.In this study,2 patients in the treatment group had mild nausea and vomiting symptoms at the beginning of taking medicine,3 subjects in the control group had nausea and vomiting symptoms at the beginning of taking medicine,1 subject had diarrhea symptoms,and no adverse reactions were found in the others.Conclusion: Jiawei Shenling Baizhu Powder is effective in treating persistent and refractory Mycoplasma pneumonia of children with deficiency of both lung and spleen,without obvious toxic and side effects.It can reduce clinical symptoms,reduce hs-CRP and peripheral blood N%,improve chest X-ray manifestations and improve clinical efficiency.
