Objective: To observe the effect of tension balance needle method,Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method,traditional needle method on the surface electromyography and modified Ashworth scale of patients with post-stroke spasm paralysis.Methods: 82 patients in post-stroke recovery period,randomly divided into tension balance needle method group(28 cases),Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method group(27 cases)and traditional needle method group(27 cases),respectively,the treatment was used of the tension balance needle method,Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method and traditional needle method,1 time per day,6 times a week,a total of 12 times for 2 weeks.The root mean square(RMS)of the patient’s lateral biceps was measured by surface electromyography before and after treatment,and the modified Ashworth scale(MAS)was evaluated.Results:1.After the treatment,the RMS of biceps of these three groups were lower than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that all these treatments can decrease the RMS of biceps;(1)After treatment,there was a statistically significant difference between the tension balance needle method group and the traditional needle method group(P<0.01),which indicated that the tension balance needle method was better than the traditional needle method on the alleviattion of the RMS of biceps;(2)There was a statistically significant difference between the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method group and the traditional needle method group(P<0.05),which showed that the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method was better than the traditional needle method on the alleviattion of the RMS of the biceps;(3)There was a statistically significant difference between the tension balance needle method group and the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method group(P<0.05),which showed that the tension balance needle method was better than the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method on the alleviattion of the RMS of the bicep.2.After the treatment,The MAS of biceps of these three groups were lower than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that all these treatments could alleviate the MAS of biceps;(1)After treatment,there was a statistically significant difference between the tension balance needle method group and the traditional needle method group(P<0.05),which indicated that the tension balance needle method was better than the traditional needle method on the alleviattion of the MAS of biceps;(2)The difference between the tension balance needle method group and the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method group was no statistical significance(P>0.05),which showed that the effect of the tension balance needle method was equivalent to the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method on the MAS of the biceps;(3)The difference between the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method group and the tradional needle method group was no statistical significance(P>0.05),which showed that the effect of the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method was equivalent to the traditional needle method on the MAS of the biceps.Conclusion:1.Tension balance needle method,Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method,traditional needle method can reduce the RMS of the biceps of stroke patients,in which the tension balance needle method is better than the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method and traditional needle method,the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method is better than the traditional needle method.2.Tension balance needle method,Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method,traditional needle method can reduce the MAS of the biceps of patients after stroke,among which,the tension balance needle method is superior to the traditional needle method,the tension balance needle method is equivalent to the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method,the Xingnao Kaiqiao needle method is equivalent to the traditional needle method.3.As a quantitative,sensitive and objective detection method,RMS has advantages over MAS in reflecting muscle tone changes.
