Measurement And Influencing Factors Of Ecological Efficiency In China's Coastal Comprehensive Economic Zone

With the rapid development of modernization,the problems of high energy consumption and high pollution are coming one after another.In order to solve the problems of extensive economic development and unbalanced regional development,the state vigorously promotes the practice of sustainable development strategy to improve the efficiency and quality of economic development.Coastal comprehensive economic zone,as the economic center of China's opening to the outside world,plays a decisive role in national economic development.Therefore,improving ecological efficiency is an inevitable choice for coastal comprehensive economic zone to carry out the concept of sustainable development.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the correlation and spillover effect between the regions of the coastal comprehensive economic zone for the high-quality development of the coastal comprehensive economic zone and the practice of regional coordinated development.This paper has an in-depth understanding of the status quo of urban development in the coastal comprehensive economic zone,and combs the domestic and foreign research results and classical theories on ecological efficiency.On this basis,the ecological efficiency of coastal comprehensive economic zone is studied.Firstly,a three-stage SE-U-SBM model based on sequential DEA was constructed to measure the ecological efficiency of 86 cities in China's coastal comprehensive economic zones.Then,the spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of ecological efficiency of China's coastal comprehensive economic zones and its three sub-regions were studied by combining Gini coefficient and kernel density estimation.Finally,the spatial Dubin model is constructed to conduct an empirical analysis on the influencing factors of ecological efficiency of China's coastal comprehensive economic zone and its three sub-regions,and the following conclusions are drawn:The ecological efficiency of most cities in the eastern coastal comprehensive economic zone is in the middle and lower level.The ecological efficiency of the northern coastal comprehensive economic zone increased significantly in most cities,but decreased significantly in only a few cities.The southern coastal comprehensive economic zone as a whole has a downward trend,and the two levels of differentiation is more serious.From the perspective of spatial differentiation characteristics,ecological efficiency is unbalanced,and the internal differences of ecological efficiency in the three coastal comprehensive economic zones are roughly the same,and have not been significantly alleviated.SDM was used to study the effects of education input,environmental regulation,science and technology input,informatization level,energy dependence and energy saving and consumption reduction on ecological efficiency and spatial spillover effect of China's coastal comprehensive economic zone and its sub-regions.The results show that most of the influencing factors play a positive role in the improvement of the ecological efficiency of the three coastal comprehensive economic zones.Among them,only the educational input has an unsatisfactory effect on the ecological efficiency of each region,and the rational and efficient allocation of educational resources should be emphasized.In terms of spatial spillover effects,different integrated coastal economic zone of education investment to the surrounding city,have a significant role in promoting the ecological efficiency of environmental regulation,investment in science and technology and informatization level in different integrated coastal economic zone of spatial spillover effect is positive,and the energy dependence and spatial spillover effect of energy saving of the present large differences in each region.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,this paper proposes that each coastal comprehensive economic zone should adhere to the strategy of sustainable development,improve scientific and technological capabilities to promote economic development;Strengthen environmental regulation,research and development of advanced environmental protection technology to promote energy saving and consumption reduction;Cities should strengthen cooperation to promote balanced regional development.
