A Study On The Electric Coal Purchasing Management Of HD Group

HD Group is a power production group company with electric power as its main business.The purchasing cost of electric coal is its most important material cost,accounting for about 70% of all costs.Affected by the current electricity sales and electric coal supply market and policies,electricity sales prices have continued to decline.Although electric coal prices have fallen steadily,they are not enough to make up for the impact of the decline in HD Group’s electricity fee revenue.Therefore,it has great practical significance to study on HD Group’s electric coal purchasing management for effectively reducing the cost of electric coal purchasing and increasing the overall profitability of HD Group.This thesis analyzes the current status of HD Group electric coal purchasing management and points out that the current management model is not scientific and reasonable,resulting in poor electric coal purchasing results and significant cost increases.It also proposes three current problems and corresponding improvement plans.First of all,an optimization and adjustment plan was proposed for the current electric coal purchasing organization,that is,the intensive purchasing model was used as the main idea of the improvement plan,a fuel logistics company was set up,and a two-level purchasing body of the HD Group and the fuel logistics company was established.By establishing a negotiation mechanism among fuel logistics companies,regional companies and power generation companies,a decision-making system for the purchasing of electric coal has been formed.Secondly,according to the idea of intensive purchasing of electric coal,a unified workflow is designed for the entire process of the electric coal purchasing business,which improves the operating efficiency of the electric coal purchasing business in intensive regions.Finally,for the use of informatization tools,a design scheme for constructing an integrated information platform for HD Group’s electric coal purchasing was put forward to ensure the implementation of HD Group’s intensive purchasing of electric coal.In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the improvement plan,safeguard measures such as human resources and supporting systems were also proposed.By optimizing HD Group’s electric coal purchasing organization,business processes,and informatization construction,HD Group’s electric coal purchasing management has achieved significant results,which not only achieved the substantial effect of price control and cost reduction,but also guaranteed the electric coal supply capability.The substantial improvement proves that the above improvement plan can effectively improve the HD coal electric coal purchasing management level and enhance HD Group’s core competitiveness.
