Effect Of Hashimoto Recipe No.1 On Complement Level And IL-8 In Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis

Objective: To observe the effect of hashimoto recipe no.1 on clinical symptoms,autoantibody levels(TG-Ab,TPO-Ab),complement C3,C4 and IL-8in patients with hashimoto’s thyroiditis due to liver depression and spleen deficiency,so as to further reveal the mechanism of hashimoto recipe no.1 on immune system regulation.Methods: seventy-two patients(only TG-Ab and TPO-Ab positive)diagnosed with hashimoto’s thyroiditis with liver depression and spleen deficiency were included.They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 36 cases each,and were given hashimoto recipe no.1(granules)and xia subtilis capsule for efficacy observation.Observation for 4 weeks was a course of treatment,a total of 3 courses of treatment were observed.Results :(1)In terms of improving clinical symptoms and reducing TPO-Ab and TG-Ab levels,the treatment group and the control group had significant difference compared with before treatment(P < 0.01),while after treatment TGAb was obviously different between groups(P < 0.05),clinical symptoms and TPOAb had significant differences compared with groups(P < 0.01).(2)Compared with that before treatment,the treatment group had more significant differences(P < 0.01)in adjusting the levels of C3,C4 and reducing IL-8,while that of the control group had no difference(P > 0.05).After treatment,C4 had obvious difference between groups(P < 0.05),while C3 and IL-8 had significant difference between groups(P < 0.01).(3)there was no difference in the thickness of the lateral thyroid leaves and isthmus and thyroid function before and after the treatment(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Hashimoto recipe no.1 can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with hashimoto’s thyroiditis of liver depression and spleen deficiency,especially in the improvement of emotional depression,chest swelling and fatigue,has obvious advantages.At the same time,hashimoto recipe no.1 also showed significant efficacy in reducing TG-Ab and TPO-Ab,significantly better than the control group.At the same time,the study found that hashimoto recipe no.1 had a certain regulatory effect on complement C3,C4 and IL-8,suggesting that hashimoto recipe no.1 may achieve the effect of reducing thyroid autoantibody by adjusting the immune status,and its underlying mechanism needs to be further studied.
