The Research On The Ethical Problems And Countermeasures Of Plastic And Aesthetic Technology

Plastic and aesthetic technology is a kind of medical technology,which aims to enhance aesthetic feeling,and uses surgery,medical devices,drugs and other medical technological methods to reconstruct and shape people’s appearance and body.Despite bringing beauty and enjoyment to the majority of beauty seekers,there are also other complications that affects the recipients such as personal injury,mental injury and economic issues.Such complications then bring forth the safety problems to the social management life,causing people to have doubts and bad reflections on the technology.In this paper,literature research and interdisciplinary research methods were adopted trying to analyze the ethical problems in the development and application of plastic and cosmetic technology,along with the reasons behind them.Also to put forward corresponding counter measures and ethical principles that should be followed in the development and application of plastic and cosmetic technology.This paper is divided into five parts.Firstly,the introduction,which clarifies the research background,summarizes the existing research results,and explains the purpose,significance,innovation and research methods of this paper.The second part supports the connotation of plastic and aesthetic technology,and summarizes the development of the technology in three stages.The fourth part puts forward the ethical principles to be followed as well as suggestions to prevent ethical problems,for instance it is suggested that the development and application of plastic and aesthetic technology should be based on ethical principles such as favorable principle,respect principle,justice principle and mutual aid principle.The ethical review and guiding role of the ethics committee should be strengthened,professional ethics of plastic and aesthetic institutions and practitioners should be improved,the technical norms of plastic and aesthetic technology should be improved and developed,and the corresponding legal and institutional system should be improved and established.The fifth part is the summary of the whole paper.
