| Objective: This study applied the theory of nerve segments controlling acupoints to treat postherpetic neuralgia with acupuncture,it investigated the clinical efficacy and advantages of acupuncture in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia in the trunk according to ganglion segment, efficacy was assessed by comparing patients’ visual analogue scale of pain(VAS),Hamilton anxiety score(HAMA),and sleep efficiency before and after treatment. It is hoped to provide a new therapeutic scheme with positive effect for acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia. Methods: Sixty patients who met the criteria were divided into 2 groups according to random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. These patients are mainly from the acupuncture and dermatology departments of the hospital.Patients in the treatment group were treated with segmental domination theory acupoint selection therapy, they were treated by 6 times a week, and the next treatment was performed at an interval of 1 day.The treatment was a course of 2 weeks and ended after 2 courses of treatment. In the control group, patients were given oral pregabalin,75mg(1 tablet)/time,which was increased to150mg/time,twice a day,2 weeks as a course of treatment, and the treatment ended after consecutive courses. The indexes of clinical efficacy were VAS,HAMA and sleep efficiency, and then we used SPSS25.0 software to analyze the data of patients before and after treatment, and draw conclusions about the difference in efficacy between the treatment group and the control group.Results:(1)A total of 60 patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in this study. There was no shedding in either group during the treatment process, and 60 patients actually completed the treatment,30 patients in each group;(2)After 4 weeks of treatment,28 of the 30 patients in the treatment group were effective, and the total effective rate was 93.3%.In the control group of30 patients, there were 21 cases of total effective, and the total effective rate was 70%.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).The results showed that the total effective rate of the two groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(3)Comparison of VAS pain scores :the intra-group comparison showed that the VAS pain scores before and after treatment were significantly different between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that both treatment regimens were helpful in alleviating pain. There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the analgesic effect of the treatment group on PHN patients was better than the control group.(4)HAMA score comparison: After intra-group comparison,HAMA scores of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P <0.05),indicating that both treatment programs can effectively improve the state of anxiety and depression of patients. There were significant differences between the two groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the state of anxiety and depression in PHN patients.(5)Comparison of sleep efficiency: after intra-group comparison, there were significant differences in sleep efficiency scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P < 0.05),indicating that the two groups of treatment can effectively improve the sleep efficiency of patients; There were significant differences between groups(P < 0.05),indicating that the treatment group was better than the control group in improving the sleep efficiency of PHN patients. Conclusion: 1.Both groups of programs have the effect of improving pain, anxiety and depression, and sleep status in patients with postherpetic neuralgia in the body.2.The effect of acupuncture on patients with postherpetic neuralgia treated by segmental acupoints is better than that of oral pregabalin in improving pain, anxiety and depression and insomnia, and the total effective rate is higher than the control group, which proves that this program is clinically effective. |
