Clinical Effect Of Bushen Huoxue Decoction On Type 2 Diabetic Osteoporosis

ObjectiveTo explore the understanding of traditional Chinese medicine on type 2 diabetic osteoporosis.In this study,the patients with type 2 diabetic osteoporosis(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)were selected as the object,and the clinical efficacy and safety of Bushen Huoxue recipe were objectively evaluated by comparing the blood glucose,osteoporosis related indicators and TCM syndrome score of the two groups before and after treatment,so as to provide reference for the follow-up research of Bushen Huoxue recipe Further application lay the foundation,and then add more powerful clinical basis for the treatment of this disease with traditional Chinese medicine.MethodsFrom July 2019 to October 2020,76 patients with type 2 diabetic osteoporosis(kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome)were treated in the Department of endocrinology of Guangdong Qifu hospital.They were randomly divided into control group and treatment group,38 cases in each group.The control group was given Qianggu Capsule,and the treatment group was given Bushen Huoxue granule.The treatment cycle was 8 weeks.Before and after treatment,the TCM syndrome score,fasting blood glucose(FPG)and 2 hours after meal of the control group and the treatment group were recorded Blood glucose(2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),β-collagen degradation products(β-CTX),total type I collagen N-terminal elongation peptide(p1np),osteocalcin(OST),25 hydroxyvitamin D(25(OH)d),creatinine(SCR),urea(BUN),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate transferase(AST).All data were analyzed by spss25.0.ResultsA total of 76 patients participated in this study,and 70 patients completed the final evaluation after treatment,including 34 cases in the control group and 36 cases in the treatment group.During this period,6 cases fell off.1.Baseline data comparisonThere was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,body mass index(BMI)and other baseline data between the two groups(P>0.05),so it was comparable.2.Blood glucose comparisonBefore treatment,there was no significant difference in the blood glucose related laboratory indexes(FPG,2hPG,HbA1c)between the two groups(P>0.05),so it was comparable;after treatment,the blood glucose related laboratory indexes of the two groups decreased compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the decline of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.01).It shows that the treatment group has more advantages in optimizing blood glucose.3.Comparison of bone metabolismBefore treatment,there was no significant difference in the four items of osteoporosis(β-CTX,OST,p1np,25(OH)d)between the two groups(P>0.05),which was comparable;after treatment,OST,p1np,25(OH)d in the two groups increased(P<0.01),and β-CTX decreased(P<0.01),and the increase of OST,plnp,25(OH)D and the decrease of βCTX in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05)0.01)。It is confirmed that the treatment group is more effective in regulating the balance of bone metabolism and antagonizing osteoporosis.4.Safety comparisonBefore and after treatment,there was no significant difference in liver function(alt,AST),renal function(SCR,BUN)between the two groups(P>0.05).It is confirmed that Bushen Huoxue Formula can be safely used in clinical treatment.5.Comparison of TCM syndrome curative effectIn terms of TCM syndrome score,there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),so it was comparable;after treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group(91.7%)was significantly higher than that of the control group(47.1%)(P<0.01),which confirmed that the treatment group was more effective in improving TCM clinical symptoms such as dry mouth and throat,soreness of waist and knee Prominent(P<0.01).ConclusionIn traditional Chinese medicine,Bushen Huoxue recipe can significantly relieve the clinical symptoms of type 2 diabetic osteoporosis patients with kidney deficiency and blood stasis,such as dry mouth,sore waist and knees;in western medicine,it can optimize blood glucose management,increase p1np,25(OH)d,OST,reduce β-CTX,and has broad application prospects.
