| Objective: Based on the theory of “lung storing qi” in “Huangdi Neijing”and the idea of “mutual promotion between lung and kidney”,observed the effects of Bufei Zhuangjing prescription on semen quantity, liquefaction time, sperm concentration, sperm count, progressive motility(PR),sperm motility(Progressive motility + Non-progressive motility,PR+NP),percentage of normal sperm morphology and sperm DNA fragment index(DFI)of the patients with asthenospermia. Methods: The patients with asthenospermia admitted from December2018 to December 2019 in the men’s clinic of Hebei Traditional Chinese medicine hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group by random number table according to the patient’s medical treatment sequence number.A total of 120 patients were included in the clinical observation and all patients must undergo a washout period of 1 week. The observation group was treated with Bufei Zhuangjing prescription, and the control group was treated with l-carnitine oral solution combined with vitamin E soft capsule for 2 months. The changes of semen quantity, liquefaction time, sperm concentration, sperm count,PR,PR+NP,percentage of normal sperm morphology and DFI were observed before and after treatment in the two groups. The clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups were compared.Results:1.During the study period,9 patients had an abscission rate of 7.5%,including 4 in the observation group,5 in the control group.A total of 111 cases of clinical study were completed,56 in the observation group and 55 in the control group.2.The total effective rate was 76.79% in the observation group and52.73% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).3.There was no significant difference in semen quantity and liquefaction time between the two groups before and after treatment(P > 0.05),suggesting that the two groups could not improve the semen quantity and liquefaction time in a short period of time.4.The sperm concentration, sperm count and PR + NP in the two groups were significantly higher than those before treatment, suggesting that the two groups could effectively improve sperm concentration, sperm count and PR +NP,but there was no significant difference between the two groups(P > 0.05).5.After treatment, the percentage of PR and normal morphology of sperm in the two groups increased, and the DFI decreased significantly compared with that before treatment. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),suggesting that both groups could effectively improve the PR,percentage of normal sperm morphology and DFI of sperm, and the observation group was better than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).It is suggested that Bufei Zhuangjing prescription is superior to l-carnitine oral solution combined with vitamin E soft capsule in improving sperm PR,normal morphology percentage and DFI.6.There were no serious adverse events in the two groups during the period of taking medicine, suggesting that the two treatment schemes of Bufei Zhuangjing prescription,l-carnitine oral solution combined with vitamin E soft capsule are safe and reliable.Conclusion:1.Bufei Zhuangjing prescription has a definite clinical effect on asthenospermia, which is better than the treatment of l-carnitine oral solution combined with vitamin E soft capsule.2.Bufei Zhuangjing prescription can significantly improve sperm concentration, sperm count,PR,PR + NP and percentage of normal sperm morphology of asthenospermia patients, and significantly reduce DFI.It is better than l-carnitine oral solution combined with vitamin E soft capsule in improving sperm PR,percentage of normal sperm morphology,DFI and the integrity of genetic material carried by sperm, which shows that Bufei Zhuangjing prescription can not only improve the reproductive capacity of men,but also lay a genetic foundation for the formation of high-quality embryo.3.The theory of “lung storing qi” in “Huangdi Neijing” and the treatment thought of "golden water generation" in later generations have guiding significance for the treatment of asthenospermia. |
