Objective: To investigate the overall level of professional identification of psychiatrist in three psychiatric hospitals in Z City,to analyze the differences in the level of professional identity under different variables,and explore the main factors influencing the professional identity level of psychiatrists,thus providing reference for the hospital to formulate and improve the talent pool management strategy.Methods: Questionnaire survey,literature research,and statistical analysis were used in this study.On the basis of literature research,the connotation,dimensions and influencing factors of professional identity of psychiatrists are determined.On the basis of the existing professional identity questionnaire,after expert discussion,combined with the actual situation of the psychiatric department,the questionnaire was compiled by myself,including the general situation part and the professional identity part.After the test,the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were statistically analyzed through the pre survey,and finally the questionnaire passed the test,and the "Psychiatrist Occupational Identity Scale" was formed.Using the simplerandom sampling method,160 psychiatrists from 3 psychiatric hospitals in Z city were investigated by self-made questionnaire from June to August 2020,a total of 152 valid questionnaires were collected,and the effective recovery rate was 95.00%.SPSS18.0was used for independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis.Results: The total score of psychiatrists occupational identity was(3.82±0.51)points,and the score of five dimensions ranged from 3.63 to 4.24,among which the score of professional behavior was the highest and the score of professional belief was the lowest.There was a statistically significant difference in the professional identification scores of the factors such as gender,age,major,position,and presence of establishment(P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the professional identification scores of psychiatrists with different educational backgrounds,professional titles,whether they were teachers,income status,and professional motivation(P<0.05).Multiple regression analysis showed that whether clinical teachers,income and career motivation can significantly predict the score of professional identity of psychiatrists(R2 = 0.311,P <0.05).Conclusion: Psychiatrists professional identity affected by psychiatrists in their own education,job title,work experience,career motivation.Affected by many external factors such as personal recognition,organizational environment,and social customs.These factors together lead to lack of professional beliefs of psychiatrists,insufficient career cognition and behavior,low satisfaction of with the wages.
