Objective:To investigate the differences of anxiety and depression status between female patients with infertility and normal reproductive age women,understand the anxiety and depression status of infertile women,and explore the effects of anxiety and depression on the fertility status and outcomes of female patients with infertility,so as to provide help for clinical treatment.Methods:The group of female infertile patients(n=149)and the group of women of normal gestational age(n=153)were investigated for anxiety and depression scores using the self-rating scales for anxiety and depression,which contrasted the differences between the two groups,analyzing the distribution of factors such as age and years of infertility among the group of female infertile patients(n=149),and studies retrospectively analyzing the fertility patients with and without symptoms of anxiety and(or)depression differences in basal sex hormone levels and fertility outcomes.Results:1.The prevalence of anxiety and depression in the female infertility(44.96%)was higher than that in the normal group(21.56%)(χ~2=18.659,P<0.05),and there were differences in Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores between the two groups(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference in Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)scores between the female infertility patients under 29 years of age and those over 29 years of age(P>0.05),and there were significant differences in Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores(P<0.05).3.The Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)and Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)scores in female infertility patients with 3 years or less of infertility were higher than those with more than 3 years of infertility,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.There were significant differences at the levels of Estrogen(E~2)levels and Androgen levels(T)between the asymptomatic and symptomatic patients in groups those received the ovulatory stimulation treatment(P<0.05),and significant differences in the levels of Follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)and Estrogen(E~2)between the asymptomatic and symptomatic patients in the group that received the IVF assisted pregnancy treatment(P<0.05).5.Comparing the pregnancy success rates at 75 days,we found that pregnancy success rates in the asymptomatic group than in the symptomatic group,which with IUI treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(χ~2=9.004,P<0.05);there were also more pregnancy success rates in the asymptomatic group than in the symptomatic group,which with IVF treatment(χ~2=11.036,P<0.05),and no significant differences in pregnancy success rates between the promoting groups.Conclusion:1.Anxiety and depression are more common in infertile women in this survey than in normal pregnant women;2.There are differences in the anxiety and depression status among infertile female population of different ages and years of infertility;3.The adverse psychological problems such as anxiety and depression in female patients with infertility have effect on their fertility status and outcomes,and developing individualized interventions has some clinical significance for the clinical treatment of female infertility.
