Clinical Observation On The Treartent Of Neurotic Urination In Children With Deficiency Of Lung And Spleen With Urination Decoction For Reinforcing Lung And Strengthening Spleen

Objective:This study is aimed to evaluate the treatment effect of my tutor’s experience formula,Jianpi Gusou Decoction via observing its improvement of symptoms of neurogenic urination in children.And explore the advantages of this formula for treating neurogenic urinary in children with the pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency through the preliminary analysis of its treating mechanism.Objective assessment is made on the advantages and significance of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in treating children with neuropathic urinary so that to broaden minds and seek a reasonable,effective,and easily acceptable method of TCM diagnosis and treatment for parents of the children.Methods: This study proceeded in three steps:1.The diagnostic criteria and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome differentiation of the disease were developed according to the authoritative relevant criteria,and the criteria of inclusion,exclusion,withdrawal,dropout,scores,efficacy evaluation,adverse effects and safety evaluation were set.2.60 children aged 4 to 12 years who visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese medicine from December 2019 to December 2020 and met diagnosis criteria of neurogenic urinary with pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency were enrolled.All these children were randomized into treatment group(n=30)and control group(n=30)with the principle of randomisation,control and open-label in clinical trials.Children in the treatment group received Jianpi Gusou Decoction,and children in the control group received Buzhong Yiqi Pill(concentrated pill).The treatment cycle of the disease was set as one course for 14 days.The clinical effects of Jianpi Gusou Decoction on children’s neuropathic urinary with pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency were assessed by observing the changes of symptoms,signs and other scores before and after treatment and differences between two groups.3.The collected data and relevant information were collated and analyzed to draw conclusions.Results:1.30 cases each in the treatment and control groups who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.26 children in treatment group completed the intervention and 4 children dropped out.In the control,28 children completed the treatment and 2 dropped out.The general clinical data before treatment were analyzed and compared between groups,such as: gender,age,disease course,condition,etc.,and no significant statistical difference was found(P > 0.05),indicating that the two groups were comparable.2.Children in the two groups were compared in terms of overall clinical response after treatment: 96.15% and 82.14% in the test and control groups,respectively,with a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).The overall effective rates of treatment group and control group were 96.15%and 82.14% respectively.Difference between the two groups was significant,which indicated that the efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.3.The comparison of symptoms and signs were made and significant differences were found(P < 0.05)between the two groups of children after treatment,such as frequent urination,chlorosis of face,fear of chill,poor appetite,loose stools,cold hands and feet,pale tongue and its white coating,teeth marks on the edge,weak pulse,etc.The treatment group had better improvement than the control group.4.After one month,the recurrence rate was 5.00% in the treatment group and35.71% in the control group,which was significantly different.The treatment group had a lower recurrence rate after intervention than the control group.Conclusions:1.The curative effect of Jianpi Gusou Decoction in treating children for neurogenic urinary with pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency is significant and superior to that of the control group.2.Jianpi Gusou Decoction could improve the symptoms of children with neurogenic urinary with pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency,such as frequent urination,chlorosis of face,poor appetite,fear of chill,cold hands and feet,and loose stools.3.Jianpi Gusou Decoction could effectively decrease the recurrence rate of neurogenic urinary in children with pattern of both lung and spleen deficiency.
