Clinical Observation Of Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi Recipe In The Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis Of Spleen Deficiency And Dampness Syndrome

Objective: In this study,patients with ulcerative colitis of spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type were treated by Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi recipe combined with mesalazine.The clinical symptoms,TCM syndromes and intestinal mucosal improvement were observed before and after treatment,in order to evaluate the clinical therapeutic effect of Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi recipe on this syndrome type of ulcerative colitis and explore its mechanism.Methods: A total of 64 patients with ulcerative colitis(spleen deficiency and dampness accumulation type)were selected from October2019 to November 2020 in the first Department of anus and intestines of Shijiazhuang Hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine.The patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Among them,32 cases in the control group were treated with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets(1g3/ day)combined with mesalazine suppositories into the anus(0.5g1/night),and 32 cases in the treatment group were treated with Qufengshengshi Jianpi granule,once in the morning and evening.After 8 weeks of routine treatment,the clinical comprehensive effect,TCM syndrome effect,TCM symptom score,endoscopic mucosal effect,C-reactive protein,erythrocyte sedimentation rate and adverse reactions of the two groups were observed.After the course of treatment,SPSS21.0 statistical software was used to deal with the data,P > 0.05.There was no statistical significance,P < 0.05.There was significant statistical significance.Results: Before treatment,the two groups were comparable in sex,age,course of disease,severity of disease,lesion range,TCM syndrome score and endoscopic grading(P > 0.05).After 8 weeks of observation:(1)comparison of single score of TCM symptoms: after treatment,there were significant differences in diarrhea,abdominal pain,purulent stool,abdominal distension,undereating,limb burnout and mental fatigue between the two groups(P < 0.01).Diarrhea,abdominal pain,abdominal distension,undereating,limb tiredness,fatigue and laziness were statistically significant in terms of diarrhea,abdominal pain,abdominal distension,fatigue and lazy speech,while in terms of purulent and bloody stool,there was no statistical significance in terms of purulent stool between groups(P > 0.05).(2)comparison of total scores of TCM syndromes: there was significant difference in the total scores of TCM syndromes between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01).There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).(3)comparison of the efficacy of TCM syndromes: after treatment,the effective rates of TCM syndromes in the treatment group and the control group were 93.3% and 83.3% respectively(P < 0.01).(4)comparison of the scores of C-reactive protein and erythrocyte sedimentation rate: there was significant difference in CRP and ESR between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01).There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).(5)comparison of Baron endoscopic score: there was significant difference in Baron endoscopic score between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01).There was no significant difference between the two groups(P >0.05).(6)comparison of mucosal efficacy under colonoscopy: after treatment,the effective rate of colonoscopic mucosa in the treatment group and the control group was 76.6% and 73.3% respectively(P > 0.05),which was not statistically significant.(7)comparison of Mayo score score: there was significant difference in Mayo score score between the two groups after treatment(P < 0.01).There was significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01).(8)comparison of clinical comprehensive curative effect: the clinical comprehensive curative effect of the two groups after treatment was statistically significant(P < 0.05).(9)comparison of safety indexes: there were no obvious abnormalities in liver and renal function,electrocardiogram and other safety indexes between the two groups after treatment.Conclusion: Qifengshengshi Jianpi recipe combined with mesalazine and mesalazine alone can improve the clinical symptoms of UC patients with spleen deficiency and dampness.In the aspects of abdominal pain,diarrhea,abdominal distension,eating less,mental fatigue,lazy speech and limb tiredness,the effect of Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi recipe combined with mesalazine is better than that of the control group,but the two effects are similar in the improvement of purulent blood stool.Both of the two treatment measures can reduce the Mayo score and inflammation index of the patients,but the effect of Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi recipe combined with Mesalazine is better than that of the control group;at the same time,it can promote the repair of intestinal mucosa,but the two effects are the same;and during the treatment period,Qufeng Shengshi Jianpi granule combined with mesalazine will not cause adverse reactions to the human body.
