| With the developent of new media era,mobile learning as a new way of learning.Based on the new curriculum reform pays more attention to the initiative of students’ learning,the reform of people’s learning style in the new media era,and the background that mobile learning has become the learning style of primary school students’ extra-curricular English,these cause the author’s thinking about the mobile learning of primary school students’ extra-curricular English.After consulting a large number of domestic and foreign literature,this paper defines the concept of new media and mobile learning,and summarizes the relationship between mobile learning and English learning between domestic and foreign experts and scholars.Based on the research of relevant experts and scholars,this paper attempts to understand the current situation more comprehensively through questionnaire survey and the interview results of teachers,students and parents,and put forward corresponding countermeasures according to the existing problems in the current situation.Based on the cognitive theory of multimedia and the informal learning theory,this study sets up a questionnaire from four dimensions of knowledge,emotion,meaning and behavior of primary school students’ mobile learning after class,and talks with the tutor repeatedly,finally forming a formal questionnaire.Then,it conducts a questionnaire survey on a primary school in Wuhan,and interviews the teachers,students and parents of the primary school.To learn more about the mobile learning of primary school students at this stage,the conclusions are as follows:(1)From the cognitive dimension of primary school students: primary school students have a certain understanding of extracurricular mobile learning.Most primary school students still use mobile devices for mobile learning after school.However,because the cognitive level of primary school students is still in the development stage,the cognition of mobile learning is still limited,the ability to judge and reprocess information is still limited,and the media literacy of primary school students is limited Education needs to be improved.(2)From the perspective of emotional attitude of primary school students: when they are learning English after class,primary school students are still very receptive to the new way of mobile learning,and are willing to use mobile devices to learn English in their spare time after class.Primary school students generally believe that mobile learning resources have various forms,including pictures,animations,audio and video presentation,which improves their interest in learning English Fun,make English learning more active.(3)From the dimension of pupils’ will ability: pupils are still lacking in this aspect,which is consistent with the law of pupils’ physical and mental development.Their self-discipline and judgment ability are limited in the stage they are in,and they are vulnerable to the influence of their surroundings and peers.The survey results show that pupils will not give themselves every time when they are learning English by mobile outside class Some students will also indulge in online games.(4)From the perspective of behavior habits of primary school students: in the process of learning English by using mobile devices after class,most primary school students still want to be guided,which is also in line with the law of physical and mental development of primary school students,and is still in the stage of incomplete cognition and limited operation ability.At the same time,primary school students also want to be able to carry out mobile learning after class in a quiet environment.After class,they are able to The majority of primary school students use mobile devices to learn English in a week of 3-5 days,which shows that mobile learning plays an important role in primary school students’ Extracurricular English learning.At the same time,the study found that some students use more than 2 hours each time,and their learning efficiency is low,which will have an impact on primary school students’ eyesight.At the same time,primary school students may also face addiction to online games The risks of the play,therefore,need the supervision of parents and teachers. |
