| Mobile learning has had a profound impact on people’s daily life and knowledge.It not only facilitates people’s convenience in time and space,but also enriches learning content.Learning resources like images,concise text,and vivid videos are presented to learners.As a carrier of mobile learning resources,intelligent terminal devices have had a positive impact on the practical application of mobile learning.English education in Tibetan areas is an important part of the development of basic education in China.However,Tibetan areas in China are all located in areas such as Tibet,Qinghai,Gansu,and Yunnan.Affected by economic and environmental conditions,English education in Tibetan areas is affected by the government attaches great importance,but its development is still relatively slow.The Tibetan students’ learning English needs to be improved.This paper combines the advantages of the mobile learning system with the current situation of English learning in Tibetan areas,and designs and develops a bilingual English learning APP for Tibetan students,providing a convenient English learning platform for Tibetan students in ethnic areas.Tibetan students provide rich digital learning resources to help Tibetan students learn English.Firstly,the paper investigates the current situation of primary school English learning in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in order to find out the problems and difficulties faced by Tibetan students in English learning.Based on this analysis,the needs of designing and developing the APP for Tibetan students are analyzed.At the same time,it lays a foundation for the design of English mobile learning resources for Tibetan students.Secondly,the paper design and produce English mobile learning resources for Tibetan students.This is the content and basis for Tibetan students to use APP for learning.First of all,it analyzes the learning objectives of primary school English curriculum and the learner characteristics of Tibetan students.Based on this,it designs learning resources based on situational cognitive theory.Finally,it uses Photoshop CS2,flash8,and Camtasia Studio 9 to make learning resources.Thirdly,the dissertation carries on the prototyping and development of the APP for Tibetan students,as a carrier of English mobile learning resources and a platform for Tibetan students to learn English.This is the main content and part of this paper.The paper will be based on the Android platform to develop an English learning app for Tibetan primary school students to use in both Tibetan and Chinese languages.The APP contains five modules:teaching materials module,words module,tests module,entertainment module,and personal center.Finally,the APP is tested,including:Tibetan language display,interface interaction,whether each module function can be used normally. |
