Research On The Construction Of Media Memory Of Folk Culture ——Take "Enshi Daily"(1949-2019) As An Example Of Tujia Hand-waving Dance

Media reports are the writing of history and the memory construction of the people and things mentioned in history.In reporting on folk culture,the media bears the memory of the development of national culture.This article takes the historical development of Tujia folklore dance as a starting point,and uses media memory theory as the analysis framework to try to explore a core research question: How is the media memory of Tujia folk dance performed? In the framework of Tujia ’s hand-waving memory construction,the local media represented by Enshi Daily carried the memories of hand-waving dances in all stages and stages,and promoted the development of hand-waving dances.At that time,a comprehensive reflection of social and cultural values and beliefs.Therefore,this study uses content analysis,text analysis,and interviews to analyze the Enshi Daily’s report on "Tujia waved hands" from 1949 to 2019.The research found that the media’s focus on Tujia hand-swinging dances in different periods is different,and the memory dimension constructed by the media also changes accordingly.First of all,the construction of Tujia’s hand-dancing cultural memory in Enshi Daily is mainly divided into the early construction of cultural origin memory and the construction of scene memory,while modern times mainly manifests in the national construction of cultural memory and the inheritance of cultural memory Construction.In the early Tujia ethnic group,due to information and ideological occlusion,the memory of the hand-waving dance only stayed in the exploration of the origin and the memory of the scene.In the 21 st century,due to the rapid development of society,Tujia people no longer stay on the surface of the exploration of hand-waving dance,but pay more attention to the national construction of hand-waving dance.Secondly,in the construction of collective memory,it is mainly manifested in the construction of ceremonies and the construction of festivals and national identity.In the collective memory,whether it is early or modern,Tujia people have never stopped worshipping rituals and festivals.On the contrary,in the context of the prosperity and development of modern society,Tujia people not only pay attention to the worship of rituals and festivals,but also pay more attention to spiritual expressions,such as their national identity.Because Enshi Daily hasdetailed records of hand-waving dances in different periods,the audience can clearly perceive the historical development of hand-waving dances at the moment.At the same time,in the process of constructing folk culture memory,the media ignores the issues of inheritance and intergeneration in folk culture.This study gives the following suggestions for the issues ignored by the media in the construction of folk culture memory: 1.Focus on inheritance Intergenerational issues;2.Give ordinary individuals a memory writing platform;3.Focus on technical optimization and strengthen memory storage;4.Enhance the continuity of topic selection and improve memory depth.
