The author had not received systematic study in translation major before.But after entering the university,the author translated some parts of The Tariff in Our Times.After nearly two years of translation practice,she began to review the original translation.At that time she thought she can do the evaluation of previous translation and correct some mistakes or inaccurate translation using professor Li Changshuan’s "understanding,comprehension and adaption" framework,combined with her mentor’s valuable advice,etc..The author hopes the paper will be referential for translation learners.This translation report is based on the framework of "comprehension,expression and adaption" by professor Li Changshuan.The first part of the report is a brief introduction to translation activities,which mainly introduces the background of translation activities and describes the translation process;the second part introduces the framework;the third part is the case analysis of translation practice,which is the core of this report.It focuses on the real ideas and rules of the framework.It classifies the solutions to the problems encountered in translation into three categories: comprehension,expression and adaption.This part mainly describes how to use the framework to instruct the practical process of translation practice,including the introduction of the application of internal theoretical methods and the importance of external multi-disciplinary and cultural knowledge to translation effect;the last part expounds the understanding of translation practice by using this framework,and focuses on the author’s exploration of translation strategies suitable for herself in this translation practice.
