Purpose : Through this retrospective study, this paper systematically summarizes the epidemiological distribution of TCM syndrome types and syndrome elements in the 24 solar terms,in order to play a reference role in the prevention of disease.Material and method:A total of 6221 inpatients with chest pain diagnosed by TCM and unstable angina pectoris diagnosed by western medicine from January 2015 to December2019 in Cardiovascular ward 1,Cardiovascular ward 2 and CCU ward of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of traditional Chinese medicine were selected to analyze the distribution of TCM syndrome types and disease syndrome elements in 24 solar terms.Result:1.In this retrospective study,it was observed that the most frequently occurring solar terms of unstable angina pectoris of coronary heart disease were the waking of insects, and the relatively high incidence solar terms were old dew,Frost’s Descent, great snow, the beginning of winter and Qingming. The low incidence rate solar term is autumn equinox, great cold, great heat, slight heat, and the Beginning of Spring.2.The multiple syndrome types of unstable angina pectoris in each solar term were Syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis > Deficiency of Qi and Yin > Syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis > qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome > heart-blood stasis syndrome > Yin deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. The multiple syndrome elements were blood stasis >phlegm turbidity > Qi deficiency > Yin deficiency > qi stagnation > Yang deficiency > cold coagulation.3.This retrospective study has observed that the incidence rate of different syndrome types and syndrome elements in unstable angina is different from solar terms.Conclusion:1.The occurrence of unstable angina pectoris in coronary heart disease has obvious regularity and periodicity.2.From the aspect of syndrome,Syndrome of phlegm and blood stasis and Deficiency of Qi and Yin are the most common syndrome types, while blood stasis and phlegm turbidity are the most common syndrome elements.3.The incidence of unstable angina pectoris is related to solar terms, with the characteristics of multiple syndrome types and syndrome elements in different solar terms.
