Research On Regional Differences And Improvement Paths Of Manufacturing Greening In The Yangtze River Economic Belt

From 1978 to present,the reform and opening-up policy has been carried out.Besides,the economic development of China has kept going to be better.In the meantime,the industrial economy has developed strongly and also brought extra resources and ecological burdens to the ecological environment.If we follow the traditional economic improvement model of highly relying on the fuel consumption and extensive resource utilization,the ecological environment will be destroyed and the decline in the bearing capacity of resources and environment will happen.The firm brief of the government’s advocating carbon peaking and carbon neutrality is a manifestation of full compliance with global emission reduction agreements and responsibility.To realize the social modernization and green industrialization,we need to face the global climate change together.General Secretary Xi has pointed that the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt mainly relies on the real economy.He also considers that the development of the manufacturing industry is essential to the industrial development of it.It’s coming trend will affect construction and development of the ecological level.Therefore,we need to change the way to develop the industry.Based on the relevant theories and concepts of industrial greening,this paper constructs a theoretical analysis framework for it including the level,efficiency and speed.Besides,the paper also makes use of the entropy method,the super-SBM and the Malmquist index to resolve the question of industrial greening.To further analyze the size and source of regional differences in the greening of the manufacturing industry,the Dagum Gini method is used.On the issue of how to narrow the gap and promote the development of the manufacturing greening,an empirical analysis of the influencing factors of the development of the manufacturing greening is carried out.After all,reasonable choices are made for the promotion path of manufacturing greening in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.The research shows that:(1)During the sample period from 2000 to 2019,the manufacturing greening of level and efficiency has showed an upward movement,and the greening development of the manufacturing industry accelerates in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.(2)The overall gap of the manufacturing greening is comparatively large,and it is in a state of fluctuation and rising;the regional differences within areas in the greening development of the manufacturing industry have a fluctuating trend.In the upstream areas,the regional differences within areas in the manufacturing greening of level and efficiency have expanded,and there are fluctuations and decline in the regional differences in the manufacturing greening of speed.In the midstream and downstream areas,the regional differences within areas of the manufacturing greening of level,efficiency and speed have widen;the gap between areas in the manufacturing greening has gradually widened.The difference between upstream and midstream,the difference between upstream and downstream and the difference between midstream and downstream has fluctuated and increased;the regional differences in the manufacturing greening are mainly due to regional gap between areas.The key to deal with the unbalanced development of the manufacturing greening in the Yangtze River Economic Belt is narrowing the gap between areas.(3)The effects of technology,government,economic development,industrial structure,industrial average size and resident income level on the manufacturing greening of level,efficiency and speed are different.(4)We need to consider the promotion path and way of the manufacturing greening from the aspect of level,efficiency and speed.The major innovations are:(1)This paper will build a three-dimensional analysis framework and mechanism for the level,efficiency and speed of industrial greening,and establish a reasonable index system to measure and analyze it.(2)This paper uses the Dagum Gini method to reveal the composition and source of regional differences in the level,efficiency and speed of manufacturing greening in the Yangtze River Economic Belt.It will provide stronger support for the coordinated development of manufacturing greening.
