| In the process of moving towards a manufacturing power in China,CNC machining has been listed as a priority industry due to its outstanding characteristics of high efficiency and precision. Therefore,as a cradle for the cultivation of high-quality workers and skilled talents, secondary vocational schools have also been put forward with new talent cultivation requirements. However, the current teaching of "CNC Lathe Programming and Operation" in secondary vocational schools cannot meet the requirements of talent cultivation in the new era.Through research,it was also found that there is a certain gap in applied research on the teaching of "CNC Lathe Programming and Operation" in secondary vocational schools. This study finds through investigation and research methods that there are certain problems in the teaching of "CNC Lathe Programming and Operation" in secondary vocational schools, such as incomplete practical training and processing processes, lack of proficiency in student operation skills, low quality awareness, and weak cooperation awareness among students. In order to solve existing teaching problems, this study combines the characteristics of "CNC Lathe Programming and Operation" in secondary vocational schools, introduces the concept of assembly that are close to real production scenarios, and proposes a teaching project model based on assembly, aiming to improve the CNC operation skills of secondary vocational school students. Then after a detailed analysis of the situation of students and teachers,as well as the teaching content of the textbook, the goal of cultivating students’ abilities is determined, and a teaching project model centered on the processing and forming of assembly is constructed. Finally, teaching is designed according to the teaching project model, and two classes in a secondary vocational school are selected as an experimental class and a control class for teaching experiments. After the experiment, experimental data are collected and analyzed to verify the implementation effect of the teaching project model based on assembly. The research results indicate that after the implementation of this teaching project, students’ basic abilities of CNC operation and assembly forming have been greatly improved, not only reflected in the faster speed of processing parts, but also in the higher accuracy of processing parts.Students’ quality and cooperation awareness have also been significantly improved. This proves that the teaching project based on assembly can better adapt to the curriculum characteristics of "CNC Lathe Programming and Operation" in secondary vocational schools, effectively improve the relevant CNC skills of vocational school students, cultivate their core professional qualities such as quality and cooperation awareness, and make them become CNC skilled talents needed by the country, society, and enterprises. |
