Study On Patriotic Health Movement In Yanbian Area

At the beginning of the founding of the People’s Republic of China,the civil war broke out in the DPRK.The United Nations armed forces led by the United States interfered in the internal affairs of the DPRK,expanded the Korean War,and spread the flames of war to the northeast border of China,seriously violating the sacred sovereignty of China.In October 1950,the Chinese People’s Volunteers crossed the Yalu River and went to the Korean battle field.Together with the Korean people,they fought the United Nations forces led by the United States with lightning speed and won successive key victories.In order to make up for its defeat on the battlefield,the United States launched a cruel and despicable germ war in North Korea and the northeast of China in disregard of international conventions,which seriously threatened the health and economy of the northeast of China.In response to this major crisis,the Party Central Committee decided to launch a nationwide patriotic health campaign and mobilize the masses to actively participate in this campaign.As the Frontier of the Korean war,Yan Bian Area,under the call of the Central committee of the Communist Party OF China,actively carried out the patriotic health campaign,which was not only conducive to crushing the bacteriological warfare conspiracy of the American imperialists,but also improved the health level of the people.Although there are some problems in the development of patriotic health campaign,but also achieved gratifying results,until today,for the smooth development of epidemic prevention and control work has a certain enlightenment role.This paper mainly focuses on the origin,content,achievement and experience of the patriotic health movement in Yanbian in the 1950 s.The paper is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter is introduction,which introduces the research background,research significance,research status at home and abroad,research methods and innovation points.The second chapter analyzes the background of patriotic health movement in Yanbian area from two aspects of poor medical and health conditions and coping with American germ warfare.The third chapter explains the main contents of the patriotic health movement in Yanbian area,that is,the establishment of health and epidemic prevention system,comprehensive mobilization to carry out anti-bacterial warfare and eliminate the four pests,hygiene,disease;The fourth chapter Yanbian patriotic health movement achievements and experience,on this basis further explained the importance of adhering to the leadership of the party,strengthening the construction of people’s livelihood and encouraging the masses to participate in the health and epidemic prevention work;The last part is the conclusion of the article.The patriotic health movement carried out in Yanbian area not only played a positive role in purifying the urban and rural environment and improving the people’s health level at that time,but also had important enlightenment for the smooth development of the current national health security work.
