Doctor-patient trust is the basis of building a harmonious doctor-patient relationship. However,in recent years, medical incidents in China have occurred from time to time.Even in the epidemic period, malignant medical incidents still occur, which makes the problem of doctor-patient trust attract extensive attention of the society. With the rapid development of Internet and new media technology, mobile phones and other new media have gradually become important tools for obtaining information and communication, and also affect users’cognition.Their impact on doctor-patient relationship and doctor-patient trust is becoming increasingly prominent.Studying the impact of new media on doctor-patient trust not only has important academic value, but also provides new media ideas for the improvement of doctor-patient relationship. However,at present, the research on the application of new media in the field of doctor-patient relationship takes the new media as a whole, and does not fully consider the impact of different new media on doctor-patient trust. Most of them are based on qualitative research and less quantitative research. In view of this, from the perspective of patients, based on the media system dependence theory and trust theory, and based on the background that the current rapid development of new media has a profound impact on the doctor-patient relationship, this thesis focuses on the doctor-patient trust, examines the important influencing factors, and explores the impact mechanism of the application of new media on the doctor-patient trust. This thesis divides the new media application into three dimensions:the use frequency of new media, the type dependence of users on new media, and the content dependence of users on new media. The doctor-patient trust is divided into two dimensions:benevolence and technology. The data were collected and sorted out in the form of questionnaire, and then descriptive statistics, reliability and validity test, difference test between samples and correlation analysis between phenomena were carried out through SPSS 19.0.Then,the structural equation model was constructed through Amos 21.0 to try to reveal the internal relationship between new media application and doctor-patient trust. The experimental results show that there is no significant correlation between the frequency of new media use and the level of doctor-patient trust of patients.Among the two types of users’ dependence on new media types:Patients’ dependence on new mainstream media is significantly positively correlated with doctor-patient trust, and users’ dependence on new media content:Patients’ dependence on understanding content has a significant positive impact on doctor-patient trust, and dependence on directional content has a significant negative impact on doctor-patient trust.Based on the quantitative research results, combined with in-depth interviews, conduct in-depth discussion and thinking, find out the shortcomings of the current medical content of new media and the improvement scheme,so as to give reasonable opinions based on the application of new media in order to improve the doctor-patient trust in the patient’s perspective. |
