Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (Liver And Kidney Deficiency) With Self-Made Chubizhitong Decoction Combined With Acupuncture

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of treating knee osteoarthritis(liver and kidney deficiency type)with acupuncture combined with the self-made Chubizhitong decoction.By comparing the knee pain,range of motion and the efficacy of combined acupuncture and medicine before and after treatment,a safe,effective and feasible treatment policy was sought to provide help for the treatment of patients.Methods:This study adopts a random parallel control research method,in accordance with KOA diagnostic criteria,incorporates 64 patients who have diagnosed the orthopedic outpatient clinic of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine as an research object.The patients were included in this study after they signed informed consent.The cases were collected from September 2020 to September 2021.In a simple randomized way,3 2 patients were randomly included in the treatment group to take the self-made Chubizhitong decoction combined with acupuncture treatment for 1 month,and the other 32 patients were included in the control group to take the Jinwugutong capsule and acupuncture treatment.VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score were recorded before and after treatment,respectively.After treatment,all data were analyzed by statistical method,and the efficacy of the self-made Chubizhitong decoction combined with acupuncture was evaluated by conclusion.Results:There were significant differences in the ratio between the two groups after treatment and before treatment,indicating that the two treatment methods are effective in relieving the symptoms of knee osteoarthritis(liver and kidney deficiency type).After treatment,VAS score,WOMAC score and TCM syndrome score between the two groups showed that the treatment group was superior to the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).regarding the overall curative effect,the effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7%and that of the control group was 63.3%,with a statistical difference(P<0.05)indicating the overall curative effect indicating the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Two groups of patients compliance is good,the treatment group and control group each fall off in 2 cases,the rest are complete treatment.Conclusion:1.The self-made Chubizhitong decoction combined with acupuncture and JinwuGutong capsule combined with acupuncture have therapeutic effects on knee osteoarthritis(liver and kidney deficiency type).2.Compared with JinwuGutong capsule combined with acupuncture,the self-made Chubizhitong decoction combined with acupuncture has better efficacy in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis(liver and kidney deficiency type).
