Objective: To explore the clinical effects of modified Zhengan Xifeng Decoction on ambulatory blood pressure, resting blood pressure, fasting serum homocysteine(Hcy),and TCM syndromes in patients with H-type hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity, and to evaluate its safety. Methods: A total of 50 H-type hypertension patients who were admitted to the Department of Cardiovascular Diseases of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2021 to December 2021 and met the inclusion criteria were divided into a treatment group and a control group according to a random number table,25 cases in each group. The control group was treated with the basic western medicine enalapril maleate and folic acid tablets, and the treatment group was additionally treated with modified Zhengan Xifeng Decoction. The course of treatment was 4 weeks. The changes of ambulatory blood pressure, resting blood pressure, serum homocysteine(Hcy),TCM syndrome scores and safety indexes were observed before and after treatment, and statistical analysis was performed on each index.Results:1.Comparison of baseline data before treatment: There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease,BMI,etc.between the two groups of patients(P>0.05),which were comparable.2.Comparison of blood pressure: After the course of treatment,the24-hour average, daytime average, nighttime average systolic blood pressure(SBP)and diastolic blood pressure(DBP)of the two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before treatment, and the decrease in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05);after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the resting blood pressure of the two groups decreased, and the curative effect was the best after 4 weeks(P<0.05),and the decrease in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05);the total effective rate of blood pressure in the treatment group was 91.67%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 75.00%.3.Comparison of serum homocysteine(Hcy): after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, the two groups of patients have different degrees of decline,of which the efficacy is the best after 4 weeks(P<0.05),and the improvement in the treatment group is obvious better than the control group(P<0.05).4.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores: After the course of treatment, the TCM syndrome scores of both groups decreased(P<0.05),and the improvement of syndrome scores in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was 87.50%,and the total effective rate of TCM syndrome in the control group was 75.00%.5.Safety evaluation: During the whole treatment process, the safety indexes of patients in both groups did not appear abnormal, and all adverse reactions could be relieved by themselves, and the safety of this clinical trial was ensured.Conclusion:1.Modified Zhengan Xifeng Decoction combined with enalapril maleate and folic acid tablets can reduce ambulatory blood pressure, resting blood pressure and serum Hcy level in patients with H-type hypertension of yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity, and the effect is more significant than that of the simple western medicine group.2.Modified Zhengan Xifeng Decoction combined with enalapril maleate and folic acid tablets can improve the clinical symptoms of H-type hypertension patients with yin deficiency and yang hyperactivity, and the effect is more significant than that of the western medicine group.3.The whole trial treatment process was relatively safe, and no obvious adverse reactions were found, which is worthy of further clinical exploration.
