Objective: Based on the midnight-noon ebb and flow theory,to explore the time rhythm of atrial fibrillation in patients with metabolic syndrome complicated with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, and to analyze the effect of various components of metabolic syndrome on the time of onset and the relationship between TCM type and attack time and to explore the influencing factors and correlation of the time rhythm of atrial fibrillation in patients with metabolic syndrome complicated with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation,so as to provide new ideas for the prevention and treatment of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Methods: The medical records of MS patients with PAF in outpatient department and inpatient department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from December,2020 to March,2022 were collected. The circular distribution data were used to analyze whether the attack time had a concentrated trend, and the frequency of attacks was plotted by EXCEL(recorded according to the onset time),and the frequency distribution of each time period was intuitively expressed.SPSS25.0 was used to analyze the general data of patients, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to analyze the correlation between the peak time of attack of atrial fibrillation and the components of metabolic syndrome and TCM syndrome, with α =0.05 as the test level.Results:1.A total of 124 patients were included in this study,Among the 124 patients, the peak time of PAF attack was Wushi and Sishi, and the next was Zishi. The low point of PAF attack was Choushi. In addition, there was a downward trend at the time of Chenshi,Weishi and Xushi.2.The frequency of PAF attacks of abdominal obesity, hypertension, hyperglycemia and insulin resistance in MS components was statistically significant, but the frequency of PAF attacks of hyperlipidemia, hyperuricemia and hyperlipidemia was not statistically significant.3.The peak attack time of PAF in patients with abdominal obesity was Wushi and Sishi, and the least was Choushi. In hypertension group, the peak attack time of PAF was Wushi and Sishi,it also showed an upward trend in Zishi and Youshi. In the hyperglycemia group, the onset time of PAF was concentrated in Sishi and Wushi, and the least in Choushi. The peak attack time of PAF in patients with IR was concentrated in Sishi, followed by Wushi.4.Patients with TCM syndrome of phlegm-blood stasis had a high incidence of PAF in Sishi and Wushi,There was no obvious concentration trend of attack time in other syndromes.5.By multivariate Logistic regression analysis,it was found that hyperglycemia,IR,phlegm and blood stasis type had influence on the onset of MS complicated with PAF in Sishi and Wushi.Conclusion:1.In MS patients complicated with PAF,the onset of PAF has certain time characteristic, with high incidence in Sishi and Wushi, and low incidence in Choushi.2.The onset time of PAF in all components of MS is concentrated in the Sishi and Wushi,Among which the two factors of hyperglycemia and insulin resistance are related to the occurrence of PAF in patients with MS in Sishi and Wushi.3.Among the various syndromes of MS,phlegm-blood stasis syndrome happens most in Sishi and Wushi,Other syndromes have different episodes in different hours, but there is no obvious concentration trend.
