A Retrospective Study Of Qingre Jiedu Decoction In The Treatment Of Metabolic Syndrome With Psoriasis Vulgaris(Blood Heat Syndrome)

ObjectiveTo observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of Qingrejiedu Decoction in the treatment of metabolic syndrome with psoriasis vulgaris(blood heat syndrome),and to provide beneficial thinking for TCM treatment.MethodsIN a retrospective case-control study,89 patients with metabolic syndrome complicated with psoriasis vulgaris(blood heat syndrome)admitted to dermatology department of Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2019 to March 2019 were collated and counted.Patients meeting the criteria were divided into case group(46 cases)and control group(43 cases)according to whether they took Traditional Chinese medicine.The control group received conventional comprehensive symptomatic treatment of Western medicine,traditional Chinese medicine ear tip,endocrine ear acupoint pressing beans,Chinese medicine injection therapy,local wet compress,cupping;Case group was treated with qingrejiedu decoction on the basis of control group.The clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,abdominal circumference,fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index,glycated hemoglobin,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,C-reactive protein and blood lipid of the case group and the control group were observed before and after hospitalization.The data were collected and analyzed statistically.Results :1.Abdominal circumference: compared with the control group before and after treatment,abdominal circumference was improved in both the case group and the control group(P<0.05),and the improvement was more obvious in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).2.Blood glucose level: compared with the control group before and after treatment,fasting blood glucose and hba1 c were decreased in the case group(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).3.Fasting insulin and insulin resistance index: compared with the control group before and after treatment,fasting insulin and insulin resistance index were decreased in the case group(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).4.Blood pressure level: Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure were decreased in the case group and the control group before and after treatment(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).5.Blood lipid: Triglyceride,Total cholesterol and Low-density lipoprotein were decreased before and after treatment in the case group(P<0.05),while High-density lipoprotein was increased compared with before treatment(P<0.05);Compared with the control group before and after treatment,Total cholesterol and Low-density lipoprotein decreased(P<0.05),Triglyceride and High-density lipoprotein had no significant difference compared with before treatment(P>0.05),and decreased more significantly in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).6.C-reactive protein: C-reactive protein was decreased in both groups after treatment,and the decrease was more obvious in the case group compared with the control group(P<0.05).7.Clinical efficacy: after treatment,the clinical symptoms and signs of patients in the two groups were significantly improved,the total effective rate of the case group was 91.3%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 72.1%.By Chi-square test,P=0.023(P<0.05),the clinical efficacy of the case group was better than the control group.8.TCM syndrome score: before treatment,there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score and TCM single symptom score between the two groups(P > 0.05),but after treatment,there was a decrease in TCM syndrome score and TCM single symptom score between the two groups(P<0.05),and the decrease was more obvious between the case group and the control group(P<0.05).Compared with the secondary symptoms,the scores of pruritus,erythema and other major symptoms decreased more significantly in both groups(P<0.05),and decreased more significantly in case group and control group(P<0.05).9.Safety indicators: Before and after treatment,blood routine,liver function,kidney function and electrolytes in 2 groups were all within the normal range.Conclusion1.Qingrejiudu Decoction can significantly improve abdominal circumference,fasting blood glucose,fasting insulin,insulin resistance index,glycated hemoglobin,systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,C-reactive protein and blood lipid in patients with metabolic syndrome combined with psoriasis vulgaris(blood heat syndrome).2.Qingrejiedu Decoction can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients with metabolic syndrome combined with psoriasis vulgaris(blood heat syndrome)and reduce the TCM syndrome score of patients.3.Qingrejiedu Decoction has high safety.
