The Efficacy Of Combining TCM Four Diagnostic Instruments With Traditional Chinese Medicine In The Treatment Of Dry Eyes With Deficiency Of Liver And Kidney Yin

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine four diagnosis instrument combined with Chinese medicine evidence-based treatment for dry eyes of liver and kidney yin deficiency type.Methods: Dry eye outpatients 124(5 cases of detachment)meeting the Western medical diagnostic criteria were collected and divided into 62 cases in the control group(2 cases of detachment)and 62 cases in the experimental group(3 cases of detachment)according to a random number table.The experimental group was divided into group Aa The control group was divided into group Ab;All groups Aa(dry eyes with liver and kidney yin deficiency identified by the Four Diagnostic Instruments of Traditional Chinese Medicine)and Ab(dry eyes with liver and kidney yin deficiency identified by manual identification)were treated with Qiju Dihuang Tang combined with sodium hyaluronate eye drops was the treatment for 1 month.The control group was divided into group Ba(dry eyes with liver and kidney yin deficiency identified by the Four Diagnostic Instruments of Traditional Chinese Medicine)and group Bb(dry eyes with liver and kidney yin deficiency identified by manual identification),both treated with sodium hyaluronate eye drop for 1 month.The clinical efficacy of the two groups was compared,and compare the clinical efficacy of the 2 groups,compare the fluorescein stained tear film rupture time,non-contact tear film rupture time(FBUT and NIBUT),tear secretion test,corneal fluorescence staining test,Chinese Dry Eye Questionnaire and Ocular Surface Disease Index(OSDI)scale scores before and after treatment between the 2 groups.Comparison of tear film rupture time(FBUT and NIBUT)before and after treatment in groups Aa and Ab.Results: In the experimental group it was 96.61% about the total effective rate of treatment and in the control group it was 75.00%,which was lower than the experimental group.Compared with the same group before treatment,the fluorescein stained tear film rupture time was prolonged,non-contact tear film rupture time was prolonged,tear secretion test was increased,corneal fluorescence staining was improved,Chinese Dry Eye Questionnaire scale score was reduced and OSDI scale score was reduced in the two groups after treatment(P < 0.05);Compared with the control group after treatment,the experimental group showed significantly longer in FBUT and NIBUT,significantly increased in SI,significantly better in FL,significantly reduced in Chinese Dry Eye Questionnaire scale scores and significantly better in OSDI scale(P < 0.05).Both FBUT and NIBUT were prolonged after treatment in the Aa and Ab groups,but significantly prolonged in the Aa group compared to the Ab group.Conclusion: The treatment of dry eyes with liver and kidney yin deficiency type by combining Qiju Dihuang Tang taken internally with vitreous acid sodium drops after identification and typing based on the Four Diagnostic Instruments of Traditional Chinese Medicine can improve the clinical efficacy,increase tear secretion and prolong tear film rupture time,improve dry eye symptoms and corneal fluorescence staining test results.
