The Distribution Rule Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution In Patients With PCOS Accompanied By Anxiety State And The Correlation With Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome Type

Objective: By investigating the TCM constitution and related factors of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS)accompanied by anxiety state,the general situation characteristics,TCM constitution distribution rule and TCM syndrome type characteristics of patients with PCOS accompanied by anxiety state were analyzed,and the correlation between TCM constitution and syndrome type of patients with PCOS accompanied by anxiety state was explored.From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine constitution,according to the research results,it aims to regulate the susceptible constitution as soon as possible,and provides a new dialectical idea for the diagnosis and treatment of PCOS patients with anxiety state in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:This study followed the clinical epidemiological investigation method and designed a unified clinical questionnaire,including the general situation questionnaire,TCM constitution questionnaire,TCM syndrome list,self-rating anxiety Scale(SAS)and modified Ferriman Gallwey(F-G)hairy rating scale.Combined with the TCM constitution theory,A questionnaire survey was conducted on PCOS patients who met the inclusion criteria,and a total of 489 effective cases were finally included.The data results were imported into EXCEL software to establish a database,and SPSS25.0 software was used for data analysis and processing.Results:(1)Among 489 PCOS patients in this survey,135 were accompanied by anxiety,accounting for 27.6% of the total cases.The age of PCOS patients with anxiety was mostly 18-24 years old,60 cases(44.4%);50cases(37.0%)were associated with obesity.69 cases(51.1%)were accompanied by hirsutism.There were 91 cases(67.4%)with acne.The delayed menstrual cycle was 60 < n≤90 days in 73 cases(54.1%).(2)Regression analysis showed that anxiety in PCOS patients was closely related to changes in physical signs of acne and hirsute caused by obesity and high testosterone(T)status.(3)Among the 135 patients with PCOS accompanied by anxiety in this survey,43 cases(31.9%)of TCM constitutions were Qi-stagnation,followed by 30 cases(22.2%)of phlegm-dampness and 20 cases(14.8%)of yangdeficiency.(4)Among the 135 patients with PCOS accompanied by anxiety in this survey,the distribution of TCM syndromes was mainly kidney deficiency and liver depression,accounting for 66 cases(48.9%),followed by phlegmstasis interjunction,accounting for 36 cases(26.7%).(5)logistic regression analysis of TCM constitution and TCM syndrome types of 135 patients with PCOS accompanied by anxiety found that Qistagnation quality was closely related to syndrome type of kidney deficiency and liver depression,phlegm-dampness quality was closely related to syndrome type of spleen deficiency phlegm-dampness and syndrome type of phlegm-stasis interjunction,and Yang deficiency quality was closely related to syndrome type of spleen deficiency phlegm-dampness.Conclusion:(1)Anxiety in PCOS patients is closely related to changes in acne and hirsute physical signs caused by obesity and high testosterone.(2)The traditional Chinese medicine constitution of PCOS patients with anxiety state is mainly Qi-stagnation quality,followed by phlegm-dampness quality and yang-deficiency quality.The syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine is kidney deficiency and liver stagnation type,and phlegm-stasis interjunction type.(3)There is a correlation between the TCM constitution type and TCM syndrome type of PCOS patients with anxiety state.The syndrome type of kidney deficiency and liver depression is more common in patients with Qi stagnation;the syndrome type of spleen deficiency and phlegm-dampness and phlegm-stasis interjunction are more common in patients with phlegmdampness;the syndrome type of spleen deficiency and phlegm-dampness is more common in patients with Yang deficiency.
