Clinical Study On Self-made Xiaoyang Decoction Combined With Mesalazine In Treatment Of Ulcerative Colitis Of Large Intestine Damp-heat Type

Objective:Self-made Xiaoyang Decoction combined with Mesalazine Enteric-coated Tablets and Mesalazine alone were used to treat patients with Ulcerative Colitis(UC)of large intestine damp-heat type.The changes of efficacy indexes before and after treatment were observed to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this treatment method,so as to provide a new method for clinical treatment of ulcerative colitis in the future.Methods:According to the random number table method,60 UC patients who met the inclusion criteria were divided into control group and experimental group,30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets alone,and the experimental group was treated with Xiaoyang decoction on the basis of the control group.All patients were treated for 4 weeks.The changes of TCM syndrome scores,serum inflammatory indexes high-sensitivity C-reactive protein,interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8),tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α),modified Mayo score and inflammatory bowel disease quality of life scale(IBDQ scale)before and after treatment were recorded to verify the clinical efficacy of self-made Xiaoyang decoction combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets in the treatment of ulcerative colitis of large intestine damp-heat type.All data collected in this experiment were statistically analyzed by SPSS 26.0software.Results:1.Basic information : There was no significant difference in general data between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome score : After treatment,the single score and total score of the main symptoms of TCM syndromes in the two groups decreased compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the difference between the groups was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group was significantly better than the control group.3.Efficacy of TCM syndromes : After 4 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the experimental group was 92.9%higher than that of the control group 80.0%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Serum inflammatory indexes:After 4 weeks of treatment,the serum inflammatory indexes of the two groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of hs-CRP,IL-6 and TNF-α in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).5.Modified Mayo score : After treatment,the modified Mayo activity index of the two groups decreased,and the intra-group comparison was significantly lower after treatment(P<0.05).6.Total clinical efficacy : The effective rate of the experimental group96.4% was higher than that of the control group 80.0%,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that the total clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group.7.IBDQ scale comparison : the IBDQ scale scores of the two groups of patients after treatment were higher than those before treatment,P<0.05,and the comparison between the groups,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.8.During the treatment,the vital signs of the two groups were stable,and no adverse reactions and side effects such as nausea and vomiting occurred.Conclusion:1.Self-made Xiaoyang Decoction combined with Mesalazine Enteric-coated Tablets can improve the TCM syndromes of patients with UC(large intestine damp-heat syndrome),diarrhea,diarrhea,mucus pus and blood,abdominal pain and tenesmus.2.Self-made Xiaoyang decoction combined with mesalazine enteric-coated tablets can reduce the level of serum inflammatory factors and improve clinical efficacy.
