Qi-invigorating Pharyngeal Prescription For The Treatment Of Adenoid Hypertrophy In Children (Qi Deficiency Stasis Type) Clinical Study

ObjectiveBy exploring the efficacy of yiqi kaiyan prescription in the treatment of pediatric adenoid hypertrophy(qi deficiency and stasis type),this paper provides new ideas for the treatment of adenoid hypertrophy in traditional Chinese medicine in the future.MethodsFrom March 2022 to December 2022,80 children diagnosed with adenoid hypertrophy were selected in the First Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and Harbin Children’s Hospital,and the patients were divided into treatment group(52 people)and control group(28people)using random number table method.The treatment group was given yiqi kaiyan prescription,and the control group was given montelukast sodium chewable tablets combined with nasal spray mometasone furoate.The duration of treatment was 4 weeks in both groups.After four weeks,the children’s TCM main and secondary disease points,TCM syndrome total points,A/N ratio,and OSA-18 points were statistically analyzed and evaluated for efficacy.Results1.A total of 80 children were selected in this study,and due to the difficulty of taking medication,1 case fell off in the treatment group and 2cases fell off in the control group.The final treatment group and the control group included 51 patients and 26 cases,respectively.2.Comparison of TCM syndrome points,through four weeks of treatment,the TCM main symptom and secondary symptom points and TCM syndrome total scores of the two groups were significantly lower than before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),and compared with the control group,Yiqi pharyngeal prescription was more effective in reducing TCM syndrome scores in children,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.Compared with A/N ratio and OSA-18 score,the A/N ratio and OSA-18 score of the two groups after treatment were significantly reduced compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05),and the difference between nasal spray and oral sernine in reducing the volume of adenoids and improving the quality of life of children was statistically significant(p<0.05).4.Compared with the efficacy of TCM symptoms,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.08%,which was significantly better than that of the control group of 61.54%,and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).Conclusion1.The effect of Yiqi and pharyngeal prescription in alleviating the clinical symptoms and TCM syndrome of children with Qi deficiency and stasis adenoid hypertrophy is remarkable,and its effect is better than that of nasal spray combined with oral shunning.2.Yiqi pharyngeal formula is better than nasal spray combined with oral shulning in reducing the volume of adenoids and improving the quality of life of children.3.Qi-invigorating pharynx can effectively reduce the amount of surgery in children with adenoid hypertrophy.
