Discuss On Professor Piao Chunli’s Treating Experience In Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis Which Is Based On Data Mining

Objectives: Apply the software of Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Computing Platform(V3.0)to collect and sort out Professor Piao Chunli’s relevant medical records of the treatment in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Then summarize and analyze her academic thinking,core medication,and experience side.It could guide clinical practice and provide reference for the clinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine in treating,so as to better inherit and carry forward its experience.Methods: According to the NIP standard,I systematically generalize and organize the390 cases by collecting and sorting out the relevant medical records of Professor Piao Chunli’s diagnosis and treatments of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Next input the collected data into Excel to establish a database,and then import the standardized data into the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Computing Platform(V3.0).From basic information,disease syndrome types,drug frequency,dosage,four smells,five flavors,efficacy and such other aspects,I analyze the medication pattern and summarize the core medication and empirical formulas.Besides,I make a detailed summary and analysis to Professor Piao’s academic ideas and clinical experience in treating Hashimoto’s thyroiditis.Results: The majority of patients remain women who are mainly young and middle-aged from 30 to 50 years old.The thyroid function of most patients can be maintained at a normal level,while a few are accompanied by abnormal thyroid function,even often with thyroid nodules.The most common clinical syndrome type is disharmony between the liver and spleen.At the same time,other syndrome types and mixed syndromes are scattered.The common drugs are used mostly with warm,mild,cold,sweet,bitter,and pungent natures.It mainly belongs to the lung,spleen,liver,and heart meridians.They are mainly used for tonifying deficiency,clearing heat,and calming the nerves.Eight core drugs:Bupleurum chinense,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,Paeonia lactiflora,Pinellia ternata,Ligusticum chuanxiong,Radix Pseudostellariae,Glycyrrhizae.Through cluster analysis,it is concluded that Bupleurum chinense,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,Paeonia lactiflora,and Pinellia ternata are the core prescriptions for Professor Piao’s treatment of this disease.According to the basic formula,combined with the theory of state target differentiation and treatment,the prescription was added to form a classification formula corresponding to each situation.Conclusion:1 Professor Piao treats Hashimoto’s thyroiditis by considering disharmony between the liver and spleen,and damage of the gall meridians by poison as its core pathogenesis.She innovatively proposes the theory of "damage of the gall meridians by poison".And she adheres to the treatment principle of mainly soothing the liver,strengthening the spleen,promoting blood circulation and resolving phlegm,while centering on detoxifying,unblocking the collaterals and regulating the gall as a whole.2 Applying data mining methods to summarize the core prescription components of Professor Piao Chunli’s treatment in Hashimoto’s thyroiditis: Bupleurum chinense,Poria cocos,Atractylodes macrocephala,White peony,Pinellia ternate.During the clinical differentiation and treatment of Hashimoto’s thyroiditis,it is possible to combine with the state target ideas and flexibly add or subtract drugs on the basis of this formula,which could achieve the goal of overall gall regulation and state target coordination.It could also present a clinical effect.
