| Purpose: The purpose of this study is to observe the clinical efficacy of moxibustion combined with biofeedback in the treatment of senile constipation of kidney-yang deficiency through standardized clinical randomized controlled trial. It gives full play to the therapeutic advantages of moxibustion warming to help Yang, simple and incorruptibility, reflects the characteristics of TCM syndrome differentiation, and provides new ideas and practical basis for the treatment of constipation with deficiency of kidney Yang in the elderly.Materials and Method: In strict accordance with the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, this study selected the elderly patients with kidney-yang deficiency constipation who were treated in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from November 2021 to September 2022,and 62 patients who met the inclusion criteria as the study subjects, and were divided into two groups according to the random number table method,31 patients in the treatment group and 31 patients in the control group. This study is an efficacy test. The experimental group is treated with moxibustion combined with biofeedback, while the control group is only treated with biofeedback. The course of treatment is 2 weeks.Compare the chronic constipation severity score(CSS),Bristol stool quality score,TCM syndrome score, and pelvic floor electromyography voltage between the two groups.Measure the quality of life of patients with constipation with the self-rating scale of quality of life(PAC-QOL).Compare the clinical efficacy of the two groups of patients, and use SPSS26.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:1.Comparison of general data: there was no statistically significant difference in age and gender between the two groups(P<0.05),indicating comparability;2.Comparison of TCM syndrome scores between the two groups: After treatment,TCM symptoms of the two groups were improved compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement of symptoms of chills and cold limbs, abdominal cold pain, clear urine and fatigue in the test group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05);3.Comparison of CSS score and Bristol fecal traits score between the two groups after treatment:After treatment, the constipation degree of the two groups was improved compared with that before treatment(P<0.01),and the improvement degree of stool traits, defecation difficulty, defecation interval, abdominal distension and other symptoms of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05);4.Comparison of PAC-QOL between the two groups: After treatment, the quality of life in the two groups was improved compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the satisfaction of the experimental group was higher(P<0.01);5.Comparison of pelvic floor electromyography between the two groups: After treatment, the mean tightening and mean tolerance of the two groups were significantly increased compared with before treatment(P<0.01),and the mean tolerance of the experimental group was increased more significantly(P<0.05);6.The overall clinical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Moxibustion combined with biofeedback treatment can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of elderly patients with constipation of kidney Yang deficiency type and improve the quality of life of patients.Moxibustion at Shenshu,Baihui,Guanyuan and other points can strengthen the function of warming the kidney and helping Yang to relieve constipation, and can effectively promote the recovery of pelvic floor muscle function.2.Moxibustion combined with biofeedback has significant efficacy in the treatment of senile constipation with kidney-yang deficiency, which is a safe treatment with small adverse reactions and worthy of clinical promotion. |
