Study On Comprehensive Assessment Of The Regional Ecological Environmental System Security Based On RS, GIS And Models

The situation of ecological security has become more and more severe on the world and especially in china. Local ecological security even began to destroy the basis for the sustainable development of social economy. For above reason, the research on ecological security is becoming more important.Based on the assessment concept framework of the regional ecological environmental system security and the integration of RS, GIS and Models, the regional ecological environmental system security at the regional scale was appraised and mapped and its causes was analyzed and the countermeasures were advanced in this paper with the case study of typical area in Yongzi Three Gorge ------ZhongXian Countyt Chongqing City. The main contents of the paper are as follows.The concept of the regional ecological environmental system security was set up in this paper in respect of concepts and theories. By analysis and investigation of references, supported by the theory of the services function of which the ecological environmental system affect the human social economic systems and by means of the most advanced international models of P-S-R and AHP, the concept frame of the comprehensive assessment of the regional ecological environmental system security (theoretic basis) was creatively constructed and extended to form the concept frame of the assessment indicators. The result could provide the theoretic grounds for the practice of the study of the regional ecological environmental system security and the management of ecological environment.Using the experimental data, the relations among the regional scales, mapping scales, visual effects of the maps, data precision and data loads of the regional ecological environmental system security were systematically studied and the digital study environmental framework of the assessment on regional scale of the ecological environmental system security were gained.On the basis of analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of all present environmental and ecological assessment models, the optimized comprehensive assessment models of the regional ecological environmental system security, namely AHP-weights changing梖uzzy梘ray correlation compound models were set up.According to the concept framework of the indicators selection of the regional ecological environmental system security, the comprehensive assessment indicators system in ZhongXian County, Chongqing City where is in Yongzi Three Gorge area were built up. The data collection and information extraction of all the indicators were realized by means of all kinds of models and methodology of RS and GIS and thus the research results which could reflect quantitatively the shape of the regional ecological environmental system security was formed and some novice conclusions were acquired by the analysis of the land cover, vegetation cover, loss of water and soil based on RS and GIS.It was showed that the ecological environmental system security in ZhongXian County is generally poor which only reached the level II, the middle warning level according to the final assessment results. It was found by analysis that the indicators caused the deterioration of ecological environment are as follows, (I) population pressure and backward of economic development are the social economic background factors. (2) excessive use and unreasonable development of the natural resources are the direct human factors; (3)fragile ecological environment is the natural environmental background factor.
