Advanced Manufacturing Technology is developing forward flexibility,intelligence and Internet-opened pattern. Aiming at the function and performancelimitations of traditional special CNC or current PC-based open-structure CNC, abrand-new CNC platform designing scheme of multi-layer open-architecture ispresented, based on embedded-MCU calculation and management core, and threekinds of expanding mode of software, hardware and interface. By using doublesystem working RAM and boot ROM technology, an independent re-developmentinterface is set on the hardware platform to realize customized function's simulationsand verifications online, which makes all the expanding or re-configuring on basicCNC platform are all safe and restorable. A software technical design of dealingmulti-tasks simultaneously based on overlapping-task-current technology is broughtout to solve complex CNC function-tasks scheduling arithmetic. A RTOSprogramming model based on virtual hardware layer, system-calling layer andtask-application layer frame is presented here and also the translation fromindependent functions to intelligent task node for the realization of true multi-taskdependent on multi-CPU is deeply discussed. This paper also established two kinds of expansion mode: structural inheritanceand interface inheritance, which are called parallel expansion and additionalexpansion and are all based on character inheritance. Through introducing theadvantages of network calculation and great-volume storage, local CNC monitoringand diagnosis is expanded to LAN, Intranet and Internet, and a multi-layer networkactivating monitoring and controlling model is established to realize the reasonableconfiguring and credible sharing of long-distance resources. To make re-developmentprocess more easy and friendly, a structural description language of CNC functioncharacter based on data library is designed for the target of inductive re-developmentmode. On the Web platform, the integration of working-data stream and multi-agentstechnology has solved the cooperation problem of distributed resources and differentapplication platform in the establishment and running process of virtual enterprises.Through unifying the two DNMS model of Agent-based and CORBA-based, anintelligent node structure is established as the base for network manufacturing system.The research also design node structure based on local CNC devices which are packedas agent objects according to CORBA specification, and a academic base forthree-layer monitoring mainframe composed of local C/S layer, LAN-B/S layer andWeb platform layer, which are scheduled by long-distance diagnosis center. Based onall these above, an object-diagnosis architecture is established.
