Top six noodle with homemade presses and domestic Catalyst conducted a series of large single crystal diamond synthesis experiments. Diamond growth rate on a systematic study and found that with the increase in growth rate, crystal quality has declined, and the limits of high-quality diamond growth rate and the synthesis temperature and growth time. The study found the limits of high-quality crystal growth rate and synthesis temperature are closely related, were low-temperature> temperature> changes of temperature. At the same time, with the synthesis time increased, the limit of high-quality crystal growth rate will increase.Synthesis of carbon crystals of different shapes were studied and found not suitable for the growth of columnar carbon large-size crystal. In contrast, the ring carbon source for large-size crystal to provide adequate space carbon cap can not only meet the space requirements to provide sufficient carbon source. Inspected the body cavity convection on crystal growth. Finite element analysis results showed that, with the catalyst thickness increases, the body cavity convection increased. The experimental results show that with the convection intensity variation to enhance the quality of synthetic crystals.Diamond in the nitrogen content on the physical properties of crystals influential. Of different temperature synthesis of diamond in the nitrogen content were measured. Found with the synthesis temperature increasing, the crystal significantly lower nitrogen content.
