Political Analysis Of Problems Of Work Safety Supervision And Administration In Contemporary China

The issue of safety and safe development, along a long history, is concerned by politicians and philosophers all over the world,as well as in the field of politics and governmental functioning. When safety is explained in a broader sense, safe production is an unavoidable problem in the process of industrialization for human society, with no exception for China. Especially in recent years, with the fast pace of industrialization and urbanization, the safety monitoring system falls behind the development of social and economic progress, which leads to high frequencies and serious happenings of manufacturing incidents, and caused great loss and negative social influence.Safe production in the issue of safe development has become an important issue for party committee and governments of different levels, widely concerned by people, society and the world. It is now regarded not only as an economic performance, but also a critical political issue of significance on reform and opening up policy and social stability, which shall also be treated with political approach. From theoretical analysis of Politics, the arising of safety problems could be traced to the unadaptibility between production relationship and the development of productivity, which need to receive continuous renovation. The political aspect of work safety problems demands a novel academic pursuit for China. The study of politics is supposed to provide theoretical framework and approach of politics for work safety issues, and further polishing a work safety system which will meet the needs of a new situation of political civilization. As for the present China, with focus on scientific development and great attention on the human nature, the promotion of a harmonious society well demands and provides an opportunity for the adoption of political solution to work safety issues. As an important component of the enhancement of political system renovation, the renovation of work safety system will help the stablization and upgrading of work safety, but also further to stimulate progress in political progress and civilization.This dissertation, from an analysis on political meaning of work safety, aims to structure a framework of political work safety theory, which serves as a subbranch of politics between work safety and the study of politics. With standing point, opinions and approaches of Marxism Politics, this paper explores the political value of work safety renovation, the fundmental guidelines of work safety, theories of safe development, achievements of China's work safety minitoring system, problems and solutions in existance, as well as establishment of safety culture and prevention of political crisis with avoidance of work safety incidents. A global vision is taken in this paper to introduce beneficial experience from advanced countries, with expectation to help with the serious situation in work safety. Institutionalization is suggested to establish long-term mechanism with solutions to the nature of the issue. It is expected by the author to find political and practical support for the bettering of work safety in China.
