At present, electronic control is an important aspect in the field of diesel research. With the growing demand of the locomotive performance, installing electronic control equipment in the locomotive diesel is going on an uptrend. According to the present application status, the author selects the electronic unit pump (EUP) fuel injection system of diesel engine as the object. The control model and key control strategy technologies will be studied in the dissertation, of which the theoretical analysis and design are verified by a series of simulation and experiments.Firstly, diesel engine model verified application for control behavior has been researched. As to realize the hardware in the loop simulation system and simulation of control strategy, the author establishs diesel engine model verified application for control behavior. Compared of the average model simulation with neural network model, the latter is superior to the average model in the accuracy. The model of diesel engine is realized using neural networks of NARMAX (Nonlinear Auto-Regressive Moving Average with exogenous inputs). Based on the same cost function, residual signal analysis is mixed into the networks, and then the networks can identify the ranks automatically. Training algorithm is MPSO (Modified Particle Swarm Optimization).Secondly, intelligent control strategy for diesel engine electronic control system has been researched. As the main characteristics of diesel engine are nonlinear, time-varying and delay, the author designs fuzzy self-tuning PID control strategy and based BP neural network tuning PID control strategy for the locomotive speed control, and makes simulation and compares the control strategy with the conventional PID control. In addition, the author analyzes each working condition of the diesel and makes up the control strategies according to the start state, idle condition and transition condition. Another control strategy in the idle speed for multi-cylinder balance is designed as well, for eliminating the imbalance caused by manufacturing tolerances and long acting.Thirdly, the interval type-â…¡fuzzy control strategy on the diesel engine electronic control system has been researched. The author points out the problem of the type-â… fuzzy control, analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the type-â…¡fuzzy control, and discusses the interval type-â…¡fuzzy control strategy on the diesel engine electronic control system which is a real-time control system. Through simulation and comparison we know the different control effect between the type-II fuzzy control and the type-I fuzzy control.Fourthly, electronic control unit of the locomotive diesel engine which is based on DSP/BIOS and key technologies of the hardware and software have been researched. On the basis of analysis of work and control strategy the author designs a kind of ECU (Electronic Control Unit) which have double CPU. The solenoid valve drive circuit has been optimized to meet the demand of system fast response. The software on the DSP/ BIOS real-time operating system is designed and scheduled to improve the real-time and reliability of the system. Meanwhile, a suitable calibration strategy is developed and implemented by LabVIEW.Fifthly, prediction algorithm of instantaneous speed has been researched. It is necessary to forecast instantaneous speed in the work of the diesel engine fuel injection. The author combines the adjacent cycle method and adaptive parameter method to forecast the instantaneous speed, which converts angle to the exact time and provides a basis for closed-loop control of engine speed; fire judge and multi-cylinder balance control.Finally, the hardware in the loop simulation of electronic control fuel injection system for high power diesel engine has been researched. Electronic control unit is used in fuel injection pump test. The electronic unit pump system operating characteristics are known, and the functions of electronic control unit are verified. With the resort to this, hardware in loop simulation system based on virtual instrument is built. The experimental waveforms and data demonstrate that the functions of the electronic control unit and the control strategy are correct and feasible.
