Research On Urban Street Space Construction

Street space is the most close to the living, but now the lack of attention to it by the government and designers. The urban design has started to rise in recent years, it is still only a little more than the theory and research. The importance of the streets in the city have been recognized, but the lack of effective means, the lack of refined and unified approach to create a good street space. Now,the street space is mainly as a function of traffic. With the rapid development of China’s economy, urbanization process has become a trend. Followed by the city streets are also the disappearance, the lack of personality, the streets as an important public life slowly weakened, and even lead to the loss of space quality. This situation is particularly serious in the urban and rural areas of most of China, the lack of aesthetic feeling.I have found a offers way to research, analysis, and create to China’s street space. My chosen research angle is to study and understand the history of the streets, analyzes the development process of streets in China and the Europe, discusses the theory and practice of street space,and through the analysis of the three cities, Hangzhou, Hongkong and Berlin, in order to establish the street space and method system. In this article, we study the existing problems of street space, and put forward the method of direct observation, analysis of other different cities,geographical and aesthetic form of the streets and habits. Here,mainly research is through the qualitative, analogy and other methods, from the perspective of daily life, in accordance with the bottom-up approach,the general public to look at the street space.Street carrying our life, is an important element of our city. Through the relative system of the street space, this article finally puts forward the need to create a city street space. That is, to create and modify the traffic safety, the streets of the cultural, historical, the creation of artistic characteristics, the daily management system of people, and even urban design, especially the cultivation of the subject of streets design and other aspects.
