The research on advanced simulation technology is pivotal in the development and construction of national defence weapon equipment at present. It will, establishing a kind of new torpedo weapon simulation environment, offer important means for developing of torpedo weapon and synthetically evaluating of countermeasure capability. The dissertation, adopting the advanced simulation theory and computer technology, concentrates on integrated designing, programming of toolkit and realizing of distributed interactive simulation system in the torpedo weapon simulation. The main contributions are as follows:1. The torpedo weapon system is object-oriented analyzed with Unified Modeling Language (UML), and whose simulation framework made up of torpedo, carrier, target and countermeasure is built, in which torpedo's battle trajectory is for the center.2. The documents involving from requirement analyzing to software testing are written by combining the software engineering with the application requiring of three of our country's under-water weapon departments, that is, demonstrating department, designing department and testing department.3. The designing method on visualized and integrated simulation environment of torpedo weapon system, namely Integrated General Torpedo Simulator (IGTS), is put forward. IGTS is by means of normalized designing of torpedo's main model, standardized and visualized designing of interface, and backing of database technology. The integrated and automatized function of modeling, simulation and statistic comes true in IGTS. And it can automatically calculate the finding probability after setting correctly random error and simulation times.4. The torpedo weapon distributed interactive simulation system is finished, whichis based on DIS standard and is characteristic of the dynamics model of torpedoand decoy. In this system the problems, including programming of network communication based on TCP/IP, designing of data package, allocating of models, time and space consistency and etc, are settled.5. The torpedo weapon distributed interactive simulation system based on Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS) protocol is established, in which VR-Link is the developing tool. The problem mainly solved is the VR-Link and Windows's message mechanism compliance. And the same time, the simulation system realizes the time and space consistency by means of time management and coordinate conversion of VR-Link itself.6. For the first time, the federation of the torpedo weapon distributed interactive simulation system based on High Level Architecture (HLA), MAK RTI 1.3.3 and VR-Link 3.6.1 for the developing and running environment, is realized, which is made of five federates involving torpedo, carrier, target, countermeasure and vision. According to Federation Development and Execution Process (FEDEP), the concept model of the distributed interactive system is developed, FOM/SOM and FED file are created, real-time and living display is r ealized bye orrectly combining VR -Link w ith t he v ision federate, synchronization simulation is carried out by independently advancing simulation time, t he s ystem 1 atency is analyzed b y t esting t he t ime characteristic of t he system.7. The above have applied to the three items of research institute in the army simulation field and the simulation demonstration of the three gorge five-step ship gate running and controlling system. In the application, these problems are solved which are the compliance of linkage of the software and the system and the expansibility of the software, and these research have achieved better social and economic benefits.
