In this paper, we engage in the subject of study of underwater explosion and dynamic response of structure in the water from theoretical and numerical simulating.First, we study the three theory of the spreading of the shock waves in water : Jierk. white-Bieze theories, Jierk.white -Bulinkeli theory and the binni theory .At the same time we engage in the subject of study in the solution of the coupling of solid and liquid. After the researching the theoretical method of underwater explosion. We simulate the process of generating and spreading of shock wave and the bubble of underwater explosions with finite element software MSC—Dytran. We also simulate the submarine shell dynamic response to the shock wave of underwater explosions with finite element software MSC—Dytran .By simulating, we compared the result of the underwater explosion, and pay attention to the distributing of the press and the density of underwater explosion in different ways of the setting of the detonator. Get the principle of the setting of detonator by comparing the result of simulating. We also simulate the process of underwater explosion which near from the surface of water, and study the spreading of the shock wave of the underwater explosion, and we study the process of changing of the bubble of the explosion by the researching the distributing of the density in the area that we research. At last we established two different types of finite element mode of submarine shell with entity unit and plane unit in the same detonation environment in simulation process, and obtained the accurate result which tallied with the actual detonation situation. Obtained the pressure and the displacement of the part of the submarine shell which is near from the explosion center. Compare the two results and proposed suitable condition for two types of simulation methods.
