Based on the situation in China and the background of domestic automobile manufacturing industry, the paper studies the automobile self-determination-oriented NPD (New Product Development) methods in accordance with the national condition and key implementation technique.The thesis analyzes the characteristics and problems in the Chinese Automobile manufacturing enterprises during the course of NPD planning on the basis of comparing with the existing method in automobile product planning, and proposes a theory of NPD planning with the core technology including, marketing research, customer demands conversion and comprehensive evaluation of the concept design, which is sure to meet the needs of methods and technology of the present domestic auto industry in the course of new product development.The following content are the keystones of this thesis:* The thesis puts forward an automobile self-determination-oriented NPD theory frame, which includes marketing needs analysis, market position, market opportunity judgment, multi-dimension demand mapping, multi-grade fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, related imitation analysis theory and key technology based on auto platform design.* To the domestic market survey needs of the automobile product development, the thesis studies the theory and related techniques in market needs analysis, market position, market opportunity judgment, and explains the realization course and mathematic tools.* To the complexity of the products of automobile, the thesis mainly studies the intension and theory of customer demands conversion of automobile products. NPD. Guided by QFD method, the thesis builds up the demands-product mapping model suitable for auto product. By this, the thesis puts forward a series of models, evaluation methods and the application of customer demands conversion in automobile NPD.By employing the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and redevelopment CAD/CAE software, the thesis probes into the evaluation plan of dynamic simulation and human engineering of automobile concept. In this way, a multi-grade fuzzy* comprehensive evaluation model is established and the comprehensive evaluation towards the auto concept product is realized basically.* On the basis of the above-mentioned theories and the research and development of applied tools, the thesis develops the software called New Product Development Planning Management System, and puts it into practices in view of the concrete needs of the NPD in one auto enterprise. Thus it provides scientific supports for this enterprise in its new product planning strategy and its new auto model plan. It has been proved that the theory methods and related software tools in this thesis are basically successful and the new product put on the market according to this plan has made better economic benefits.
