Mass Customization(MC) is an kind of production mode providing user customized product with high efficiency and low cost of mass production. Web parts library(WebPL) is an important support tool for the implementation of MC. It can decrease the special parts-product ratio. It can promote specilization and collaboration of clusters of enterprises of parts production. With supporting from some research itmes including research and development of product collaborative design system for MC ect, the construction of WebPL, ontology modeling of parts and semantic characteristic description ect are researched in the paper.In the 1st chapter, the research of MC at home and abroad is presented. Secondly, the effect to MC of Web Service and Semantic Web is analyzed. The need of WebPL is analyzed. The research and application of WebPL at home and abroad is explained. The main shortcoming is analyzed. At last, the main research content of the paper is put forward.In the 2nd chapter, it is indicated that the relationship of WebPL among some elements of MC. The self-organization of MC system and WebPL is analyzed. The need model, hiberarchy model and structure model of MC system are presented. On the basis, MC system is anylized and researched. The organization model of specilization and collaboration of clusters of enterprises and collaborative optimization of clusters of enterprises are research. WebPL based on organization model of MC and its related characteristics are presented. At last, the two-dimension and three-dimension optimization models of MC are presented and researched in detail, and the problems are discussed, which should be pay attention to in the design and application process of WebPL.In the 3rd chapter, the relations among parts are described with the structural characteristic of parts ontology, and the attributes of parts are described with semantic characteristics of parts. The semantic characteristic description of parts ontology is on the basis of JLBM-1, and integrates some other traditional parts description methods. At last, a multiple layers search model supporting parts ontology is put forward.In the 4th chapter, WebPL is a kind of Web resources library of MC. The progress mode of Web resources library is presented and researched with some attributes, such as self-organization and cycle of positive feedback. How to construct parts ontology library and instance library is explained in detail integrating parts layouts of article characteristics in database. On the basis, a Web parts library, webParts, is implemented in the paper. The framework, functional model, ASP application and distributed application etc are anylized.In the 5th chapter, online product configurator, an kind of WebPL's applications, is anylized. A general online product configurator(GOLPC) is researed and realized. It can implement some function, such as, constructing product structural tree using webparts, renewing parts' information periodically and timely, returning need information of parts to webParts, and son on.In the 6th chapter, e-Service platform is constructed on the basis of webParts, and integrating GOLPC and some other Web software system. The platform inherits some characteristics of webParts, such as, self-orgazation, opening and web service, and so on. The framework and operation attribute of the platform is explained. At last, an application case is illustrated.In the 7th chapter, all of the works in this dissertation are summed up, and their futures are prospected.
