Product development is the important drive in the creation of social material wealth, and the improvement of mankind civilization results in the evolution of product development method. The computer supported collaborative product development represents the trends of modern product development technology. Moreover, it is the embodiment of collaborative method diversity in the information society. Through convenient communication technology ,it extends the communion scope and deepness of collaborators and enhances the technical performance such as time, quality and cost in product development .Hence the research and development of process integrated management in computer supported collaborative product development is very important in both theory study and engineering application.Based on the features, application requirement analysis and the present development environment, this paper presents an architecture of process integrated management of collaborative product development. The function modules of this architecture are analyzed, and the key techniques of the implementation of the system are discussed.The effective process management is the base of product development. According to the analysis of the presented process modeling techniques, the paper presents the layered management scheme of collaborative product development process, and puts out a process model based on project management and workflow techniques .Also different layer process modeling theory and techniques are researched by applying activity network technique and layer-object-based colored generalized stochastic Petri net, and the whole solution scheme and implement techniques are put forward.On the basis of the above layered process modeling theory, a layered description of collaborative product development organization structure is put out. Through entities such as organization, task, resource, environment, an object-oriented integrated product development organization modeling arithmetic is created. Moreover, the optimized method of the organization model is researched, and the management frame is presented, and the implementation of a virtual enterprises based organization is also analyzed.Product quality is the source of product life. The paper adopts quality function deployment (QFD) quality control concepts to process management techniques. The implementation techniques of extended QFD-based quality management process are researched, and the quality management oriented dynamic control techniques are discussed. Through the definition of activity-based quality control elements, the dynamic control of product quality is realized. Lastly, an implementation frame for computer aided quality management is put out, and the total quality management of collaborative product development lifecycle is achieved.Through the analysis of cost management techniques and process modeling theory, a collaborative product development oriented cost management function frame is putforward, and a cost computation model is created, and the cost classification techniques for diverse cost objects are discussed as well. In addition, a cost-based process optimization method is imported from cost model, and the arithmetic is presented. Furthermore, the integration techniques of cost information and process model are researched to supply a new solution for collaborative product development cost management.To implement the integrated management of complicated distributed collaborative product development processes, the paper puts out a B/S and C/S architecture based process integrated management frame. The configuration of the main application functions of the frame is analyzed, and the key implementation techniques are discussed. In the end, the main functions of the system prototype are illustrated by the instance of pressure nitrogen pot development.
