Today, Architectural Industrialization is not a new topic any more. The de veloped countries began research and practice it since the middle of the 20th century and acquire abundant technological experience. Comparing these achiev ements we find that, because of the different national conditions, the strategiesthese countries adopt are varied. It reminds us that we can't transplant them from one country to another. Instead of that we must make any changes accor ding to specific conditions at that time and local. China's Architectural Industri alization is consequently more difficult because the developed countries' manne rs should not be copied directly. The current researches on this topic are still not mature in China. The points of view are generally divided into two types:Some of them only stay around the macroscopic level and cause the lack of maneuverability; On the contrary, others stay around the microscopic level focu sing on a certain or a few techniques. They often lay particular emphasis on t he reality but do the researches separately, and ignore the connections betweenthe parts and the whole. So their achievements are deficient in generality. In short, what we lack are medium-scopic researches.Based on the realistic circumstance of China's Architectural Industrializatio n, this thesis analyzes a lot of theories and practice to obtain a theories framewhose principal part stays medium-scopic level but also looks after both sidesof macroscopic and microscopic level. The purpose is to detect the problems, sort out our thoughts and proceed some pointed and overall studies. So that it can provide consultation to the development of Architectural Industrialization. In fact, there are many regulations in Architectural Industrialization, similar to any other things. It's a good manner to commence with its basic properties. And then the scientific researches that belong to the other realms but haveany similar (to Architectural Industrialization) properties can be used for our references. For example, Architectural Industrialization belongs to the categoryof technology innovation. And the concept of technology innovation suggests t hat an innovation that is worthy of the name must have been put through thetest of the market. It has already been verified in the other areas of science. So we can learn that Architectural Industrialization must satisfy all conditions j ust like the other technology innovations. Another example, based on the sameindustry concept Architectural Industrialization can also consult the developme nt process of automobile or electronic industry. It will be hardly conceivable to neglect "the technique" in the research ofArchitectural Industrialization. Moreover, for profession reason our practices ar e also mostly activities within technology category. The research experiment ofnew wall material is an example. It's undoubted that the technique occupies acentral place in the Industrialization system. The technique is a breakthrough and it can provide the strongest propelling force for Architectural Industrializati on. Actually the new wall material is no other than a breakthrough in our pra ctice. However, the technique's leap must meet many periphery requirements thatare unable to be determined by the technique itself. But the scientific researc hers frequently neglect these requirements. The present paper uses more space to study the environmental factor beyond the technique while paying close atte ntion to technical development. For instances, as an industry, the characteristicsof Architectural Industrialization must be different in different development pe riods;the technique's marketability;the government's guidance to the industrial ization's development and the economic regulations' direct actions, as well as t he impacts to the labor market;systematic characteristics in concrete operationand the different results produced by different technical organizations, etc. Fin ally the paper also puts emphasis on the particularities of current environment and the tactics at present.Architectural Industrialization is a huge and diverse system. Its comprehen sive and complex natures would make many obstacles for its development, andalso bring much difficulty to our research work. Essentially, any one's researc h and practice can only be a very little part of this numerous system. The present paper can not make an exception either. From this standpoint the paper is an open system. It's not a terminal point but a beginning of the research.
