The western-line south-to-north water transfer project, following the east-route and mid-route project, is a large scale state-planned interbasin water transfer project which attracts wide attentions both at home and abroad for characterizing volumes of water transfer, great difficulty in construction, large investment and long construction period. The west-line water transfer will brought great socioeconomic benefits to Yellow River Basin-the reception basin, and affect in certain degree the society, economy and environment of the water-transferred region, with the hydroelectricity development and utilization for water-transferred rivers affected greatly. Therefore, during planning and implementation of the west-line water transfer project, there will be fairly important theoretical significance and practical value to study the gain and loss in power generation of water-diversion rivers and economic compensations in water-transferred region. This paper is extracted and concluded basing on the research results of the key science and technology program of Sichuan Province and Yellow River Water Resources Commission which the writer takes a share in the achievement, that is, the"influence of the west-line south-to-north water transfer project to hydroelectricity industry of Sichuan Province and research for countermeasures(04ZR0015)"and the"analysis of influence of the west-line south-to-north water transfer project to the...
