Study On Urban River Construction Theory Prompting Man-Water Harmonization

Urban river is far-reaching affected by people because of its close relationship with people's living and manufacturing, which results in many problems, such as increasing flood and waterlog risk, making water environment quality worse, impairing ecosystem, changing waters landscape etc, as a result, man-water relationship is becoming worse and worse. Therefore, urban river is being paid great attention by the whole society, and gradually becoming one of hot points in research fields. But the research on this question is underway, and comprehensive theory about it that can direct current urban river restoration and rehabilitation has not come into being. The object of this dissertation is to form urban river rehabilitation theory that can prompt man-water harmonization. Owing to this reason, the main contents are as follows:Urban river's effects and functions are discussed, and the important status of urban river in city is elucidated. The main contents of Macro Water Conservancy Theory promoting man-water harmonization are addressed; the differences from traditional water conservancy theory are analyzed; the experiences are gained through exploring our ancient water citySuzhou City -----the model that reflects the idea of "man-water harmonization". Under"Macro Water Conservancy Theory", the basic frame of Macro Water Conservancy promoting man-water harmonization is expounded, namely, constructing safe, comfortable waterside space, moistening land, and finally establishing flourish and sustainable society. Based on urban river's current situation and people's demand for urban river, several key problems directed by Macro Water Conservancy Theory promoting man-water harmonization is addressed. The contents of the theory are ecological restoration, landscape construction and water culture construction. The contents of three proportions are expatiated: (I) urban river eco-system's characteristics, restoration principles, guiding idea and measures; (II) urban river's landscape constituents, classification, characteristics, constructing principles, main considering factors, train of thought and main contents; (III) water culture definition, characteristics, forming conditions, exhibiting methods and manners.Above theory of modern urban river construction is applied into Yan'an City's urban river construction according to its characteristics which including the history, culture and landscape resources, the current situation of urban river, the existing problems etc. Considering Yan'an City's requirement for the landscape of urban river, urban rivers constructing strategies adapting to Yan'an City's development is put forward, namely, the target of "clear water,...
